When the Stars Gossip has confirmed its premiere date for January 4, 2025, with an out-of-this-world lineup.
tvN's upcoming weekend drama, When the Stars Gossip follows Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), a top astronaut and perfectionist who does not tolerate even a single mistake, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), an uninvited guest on a secret mission.
This marks the first attempt in Korea to create a space office drama set aboard a space station. The cast includes Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Han Ji Eun, Kim Joo Heon, Lee El, Lee Cho Hee, and Heo Nam Jun.
Lee Min Ho takes on the role of Gong Ryong, an obstetrician-gynecologist who stays at the space station for a few days as a space tourist. Gong Ryong is the prospective son-in-law of MZ Group, Korea's top conglomerate, who goes to space with a secret mission he can't disclose to anyone.
Gong Hyo Jin stars as Commander Eve Kim, tasked with her first mission as a commander at the space station. Eve Kim is a perfectionist who adheres strictly to principles and tolerates no mistakes in space where all kinds of dangers lurk.
Oh Jung Se transforms into Kang Kang Soo, a scientist researching fruit flies aboard the space station. As the second son of the owner of a global financial empire, Kang Kang Soo lives a carefree life but unexpectedly ventures into space, seeking thrill in a dangerous escapade.
Han Ji Eun plays Choi Go Eun, who likes Gong Ryong. As the only remaining heir of the chairman of MZ Group, Choi Go Eun is a national icon known for her beauty, intelligence, and capabilities. She reigns as a role model for women and the ideal type for men across Korea.
Kim Joo Heon takes on the role of Park Dong Ah, a veteran astronaut from Seoul MCC Ground Control Center. Meanwhile, Lee El plays Chief Kang, who manages and commands the MCC Ground Control Center which serves as the link between space and Earth.
Lee Cho Hee portrays twin sisters Lee Min Ah and Lee Donna, who have polar opposite personalities.
Rising star Heo Nam Jun takes on the role of Lee Seung Jun, a space scientist researching dementia in mice aboard the space station.
When the Stars Gossip will premiere on January 4, 2025. The K-drama will also be available to stream on Netflix.
