NU'EST Hwang Min Hyun reportedly joins Lee Jae Wook and Park Hae Eun in an upcoming tvN drama.
Media outlets revealed on April 21 that NU'EST Hwang Min Hyun will take part in the upcoming tvN drama "Return."
"Return" will be the comeback drama of the famous writers Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran) since their hit series "Hotel Del Luna." The drama is set to air on the second half of 2021 and it will be helmed by Park Joon Hwa.
Director Park Joon Hwa also worked dramas such as "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?", "Touch Your Heart," "Because This is My First Life," and the soon to air series "My Roommate Is a Gumiho." Meanwhile, Hong Sisters were the ones who created hit dramas "A Korean Odyssey," "The Master's Sun," "The Greatest Love," "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho," and more.
The upcoming drama "Return" will revolve around young magicians dealing with heavenly spirits.
Lee Jae Wook and Park Hae Eun are both reviewing the casting offer to be the main leads of "Return."
Hang Min Hyun debuted in 2012 as part of Pledis Entertainment's first boy group NU'EST. Since then, he's been active as an idol. After joining "Produce 101 Season 2," their group rose to fame and Hwang Min Hyun temporarily promoted as part of Wanna One. In 2019, he returned to NU'EST and their group went on full promotions.
Hwang Min Hyun's career continued to flourish as he starred on his first ever musical and drama in Korea. He was part of the JTBC drama "Live On" as the male lead along with Jung Da Bin, Noh Jong Hyun, Yang Hye Ji, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, VICTON's Choi Byung Chan, and more.
"Return" will air on tvN on the second half of the year.
