After two years, Jeon So Min is returning to the K-drama scene.
On October 22, it was officially confirmed that Jeon So Min will lead the upcoming K-drama I’m Jisong Again Today (literal translation). She will work with Gong Min Jung and Jang Hee Ryung in the upcoming series.
This will be the first official K-drama project of Jeon So Min after leaving the variety show, Running Man. This will also be her first official project from her new agency Studio Santa Claus Entertainment.
Jeon So Min last starred in the 2022 K-drama Cleaning Up with Yeom Jung Ah, Kim Jae Hwa, Lee Moo Saeng, Na In Woo, and Jang Shin Young. She also made a special cameo appearance in the 2023 K-drama Delivery Man.
The actress is known for leading the K-dramas Show Window: The Queen's House, Top Star Yoo Baek, Something About 1 Percent, Victory For Tomorrow, Princess Aurora, and more.
I’m Jisong Again Today will tell the story of a single woman named Ji Song Yi. She decided to not continue her wedding but this led her to struggle. She is trying to pay off her loan for the supposed newlywed home in a new city. She currently works several part-time jobs to make ends meet.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Min Ji Young and writers Cho Yu Jin and Choi Ryong.
Jeon So Min will portray the role of Ji Song Yi. She decided to disguise herself as a married woman in the new city she lives in. She pretends to be a married woman because of her rivalry with other moms in the city.
Gong Min Jung will portray the role of Choi Ha Na, a working mom who begins her day at 5 am to follow her routine. She was Ji Song Yi's best friend but after one incident, the two drifted apart.
Jang Hee Ryung will play the character named Ahn Chan Yang. She is a pottery teacher who lives the ideal life. She is a city woman who has good looks and an amazing lifestyle. She is also addicted to social media.
I’m Jisong Again Today will premiere on December 5. It will air both on KBS Joy and the streaming platform, Netflix.
