Ju Ji Hoon and team give their all in the line of duty in 'The Trauma Code'
MBC's highly anticipated drama for the first half of the year, Undercover High School, has revealed the script reading session stills.
Set to premiere in February, Undercover High School tells the story of a National Intelligence Service agent Jung Hae Seong (Seo Kang Joon) who goes undercover as a high school student to track the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's lost gold bars.
Present at the event were director Choi Jung In, writer Im Young Bin, and a stellar cast, including Seo Kang Joon, Jin Ki Joo, Kim Shin Rok, Jeon Bae Soo, Lee Seo Hwan, Jo Bok Rae, Yoon Ga Yi, Kim Min Ju, Park Se Hyun, and Shin Jun Hang.
Seo Kang Joon plays the lead role of Jung Hae Seong, an elite agent from the NIS Domestic Division 4, who becomes a high school student for an undercover investigation.
Jin Ki Joo plays Oh Soo Ah, a temporary Korean history teacher. She is a bright and bubbly character.
Kim Shin Rok plays Seo Myung Joo, the chairwoman of the Byeongmun Foundation and Byeongmun High School.
After the script reading, Seo Kang Joon shared, "I believe this is a project where viewers will be able to feel a mix of fun, emotion, and laughter." Jin Ki Joo said, "Just like MBC, a good friend to meet, I'll do my best to bring joy to viewers." Kim Shin Rok expressed her determination, saying, "I'll work hard so viewers will think of me as an actor they're glad to have come across."
Undercover High School's release date and global OTT platform are yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
