"The Good Bad Mother" Actress Ra Mi Ran Returns as an Intern in Her 40s in "Cruel Intern"

The actress Ra Mi Ran becomes a career intern in the drama Cruel Intern. 

Directed by Han Sang Jae, and the screenplay written by Park Yeon Kyung, Cruel Intern tells the story of Go Hae Ra (Ra Mi Ran), who returns as an intern after a seven-year hiatus, receiving a secret and cruel proposal from her successful colleague Choi Ji Won (Uhm Ji Won). 

Reuniting after ten years after the film Hope in 2013, Ra Mi Ran and Uhm Ji Won, both acting sensations, are anticipated to light up the screen in the upcoming production.

The latest teaser poster features Go Hae Ra and her bold declaration, "Returning as a career intern". She retrieves and puts on a suit that she had kept hidden in her closet while wearing her rubber gloves, as she was still doing her chores as a housewife. Though she used to be an accomplished MD who dominated the industry seven years ago, she had to return as an intern due to the hiatus. Despite being a career intern in her forties, she has the same passion as seven years ago and a conviction to do her best. 

Go Hae Ra, once famous as a workaholic MD, left her work and became a housewife, dedicating herself solely to childcare and household chores for the past seven years. Realizing that her very identity as "Go Hae Ra" had faded away from the industry during this period, she takes a leap into re-employment to reclaim her true self. However, she grapples with the harsh reality of companies refusing to acknowledge her previous accomplishments. In the midst of her hardships, she receives a proposal for an intern position from Choi Ji Won - her former colleague, who is now leading a successful life as the head of product planning - which challenges her pride. Nevertheless, with an unwavering spirit, Go Hae Ra gathers her determination and re-enters the world of working professionals as an intern.

After delivering a dynamic performance in The Good Bad Mother, Ra Mi Ran now comes as a working mom who successfully returns to work as a career intern.
