tvN has clarified its position about the possible reward vacation of "Queen of Tears" cast

tvN has officially given its statement regarding the reports of a reward vacation for the hit K-drama Queen of Tears.

On April 22, tvN responded to the reports about the reward vacation of the K-drama Queen of Tears. According to tvN, "The production team of the K-drama is currently discussing the schedule of the reward vacation. Due to its popularity, the cast and production team will possibly have its party once again. The reward vacation will be discussed after the end of the series."

tvN also shared that after they ended the filming for Queen of Tears, the whole cast and production team already held a farewell party. 

K-dramas that became a hit usually go on a reward vacation. This tradition stopped for a while because of the pandemic. Just this year, the hit tvN K-drama Marry My Husband also held its reward vacation. The cast and team went to Vietnam to celebrate the success of the series.

Queen of Tears currently holds the record of the second highest-rated K-drama in tvN's history. Aside from this achievement, the K-drama also maintained its top ranking in all channels.

Many are anticipating if Queen of Tears can also surpass the 2019 hit series Crash Landing on You which currently holds the title as the highest-rated K-Drama in tvN history.  In the 14th episode of the series, it already got 21.6 percent viewership which is not impossible to reach as it has two more episodes to air. 

Ever since Queen of Tears aired, the ratings have been steadily breaking its record. 

Queen of Tears revolves around the life and love story of a Queens Group conglomerate heiress and her lawyer husband.

The K-drama is led by Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Joo Bin. 

Queen of Tears is the recent work of top-class directors  Kim Hee Won (Vincenzo), Jang Young Woo, and writer Park Ji Eun (Crash Landing on You, The Legend of the Blue Sea, and My Love from the Star).

Queen of Tears is set to air its 15th and 16th episode this weekend at 9:20 PM KST. The K-drama can be viewed through broadcast channel tvN and the global OTT platform, Netflix.
