Yoon Seo Ah joins the cast of the upcoming JTBC K-drama The Tale of Lady Ok.
According to media insiders, Yoon Seo Ah will be Im Ji Yeon's best friend in the upcoming historical romance K-drama The Tale of Lady Ok.
This will be the second K-drama of Yoon Seo Ah in 2024. The actress also starred in the Netflix original K-drama Goodbye Earth with Ahn Eun Jin, Yoo Ah In, Jeon Sung Woo, Kim Yoon Hye, and Seo Ye Hwa. Her character in the series created tension in the story.
Yoon Seo Ah began her acting career in 2018. She became part of the cast of the K-dramas Today's Webtoon, Bloody Heart, Nevertheless, Love Revolution, and more.
The Tale of Lady Ok will be led by Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo, Kim Jae Won, Lee Jae Won, and Sung Dong Il.
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of a woman named Ok Tae Young. She is loved by the people around her but they don't know her secret. Her name, status, and husband are all fake. She will meet Cheon Seung Hwi, the person who is willing to risk his life to protect her.
The Tale of Lady Ok will be the joint work of director Jin Hyeok (Sisyphus: The Myth and The Legend of the Blue Sea) and writer Park Ji Sook (Uncle and The Spring Day of My Life).
In the series, Yoon Seo Ah will portray the role of Baek, an innocent and cheerful girl full of affection. She is the only friend of Im Ji Yeon's character Ok Tae Yeong. The two will showcase close friendship in the series.
The Tale of Lady Ok will air its first episode on November 30 at 10:30 PM KST. It will be part of JTBC's Saturday and Sunday K-drama timeslot.
