End Of The Year BL Review ~ 2024 Edition!

December 4th

1. Fvorite OST - not a BL  and not from 2024 (but I watched it this year) but I must give it to The Devil Judge, especially because it opened a whole new world of korean music for me (alt-rock and thrillers OSTs in general.) Tempest, by Huckleberry Finn became my go to night listen.
Also Bandage from Love is Better the Second Time Around.

2. Top 5 bl\bromance I watched this year:

1. Last Twilight - I don't remember much, but reading my notes it's clear I loved it.
2. High-School Return of a Gangster - It was such a fun ride!
3. Let Free The Course of Taekwondo - Loved every second of this and the only bad thing is that it ended too soon.
4. Hidamari ga Kikoeru - So warn, soft and touching. They portrayed their feelings and the story so well.
5. Love for Love's Sake - The concept was very refreshing and I like the dynamics between everyone and the uniqe storyline.

3. Favorite Wardrobe - Sin Ju Yeong (LFTCOT) won my heart with his style (comfy is best)

wait we are not only talking about thai bls or just bls but also straight dramas? lol  I watch a lot of categories to rate them all under a single one- random taiwanese bls too yet I don't know their names, tbh-

2. Top 5 Series of 2024 : Love's for love sake, Unknown, Love in the big city, Memory in the letter and Jack and Joker/ Century of love (not in the order and I have also several fav such as Every you, every me but it's more of the acting).

3. Favorite Wardrobe of 2024: Shan (Battle of the writers); Jack (fJack and Joker) and.. Honestly I didn't really pay attention but.. It's not BL I would say,  Dr Fahlada (The secret of us)

December 4th 

1. Favorite OST of 2024 - Jazz for Two
   
   I usually don't pay attention to the music in most BLs, but I did genuinely enjoy this one. 

2. Top 5 Series of 2024 - Anti-Reset, Two Worlds, This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans, Takara's Treasure, I Became the Lead in a BL
   
   Can't believe I only have two Japanese series in my top favorites (seeing as Japan produces the best series imo). Honestly, there wasn't much to choose from since I've lacked pretty badly in the watch department this year.

   Daou would look good in a trash bag, but still the wardrobe for him ate down in COL. Same with the female character too, she was always dressed to impress.
