I've been looking for the English translation of the novel but couldn't find one so I've decided to do one myself. Volumes 1-10 have been completed. You can check out my translation here. The first volume is solely about Wu Dingyuan and Lu Yun's story is in volume 2. You can just read these two volumes to know a bit about them. Volume 3 onwards is where the plot starts moving. I've really enjoyed the novel so far. Love the author's writing and the story is truly amazing but things can get very bloody, very fast lol.
Want a quick glimpse of the four main characters and how chaotic they can be? Check out Chapter 11 of Volume 7 (though the first half of it is about a certain fortune teller ?). It's a funny short chapter without much going on, so you can read it without worrying about potential spoilers and such ?
This novel is quite massive, with 25 volumes altogether. I'm reading it and doing the translation at the same time and I don't know how long it will take me to finish, but I aim to do 2-3 chapters per week if my schedule allows. Hopefully I can get everything done before the airing of the show, whenever that is ?
