For people who have watched episode EIGHT: OMG ugh....what?! lol This show just jumped into really really strange territory. A part of me thought "aww it's cute that they care about each other so much," but a much larger part of me was thinking "ummm....is this really happening?" haha.

More on Ep. 8: You're totally right. It was obvious they weren't getting together, lol. I just couldn't imagine a storyline like that in an American teen sitcom. Even though I don't really like American TV, I was raised with American and British TV, so that's kinda what I'm accustomed to. For me, that made it even funnier. I'm not sure, but I would guess that the outrageous nature of it was also part of the joke for the Japanese audience (judging from his friends' reactions).

I agree that the ending was a little predictable. I think most of the episodes are, but that adds to the charm. The show is comfortable and mindless in a good way. I will definitely be watching episode 9 :) .
