I was really surprised that there is no thread for this Drama. I think it is worth being discussed. o_o

Even thought I already finished this some days ago, I still have to think about it. On the one hand, I really loved this Drama and I?d like to add it to my favourites. On the other hand I only rated it with 7 points, alter I added one since there were some details that didn?t agree with me, e.g. the ?disappearance? of Mei?s childhood friend. Or is it common not to stay in touch with your old friends when you have found a girlfriend? Then there were the side stories. I really wished they concentrated a little bit more on them, especially Mia?s story. But well, I guess they only wanted to tell the story from Mei?s point of view. Still there were quite many scenes that didn?t have to do anything with Mei?s story. Really confusing?
In the end, I?m not satisfied with the score of 8. But a higher score would mean this is as good as/ better than LIFE. And life was a really good Drama that is kind of similar to Akai Ito. They both deal with growing up and the problems occurring during this process.
While LIFE was a little too much sometimes, Akai Ito takes some things too easy.

Now my head is spinning again @_@. I really love both, but are they really equal? I wonder?
Maihime!!It can't be that you have started such a great but lonely thread!:) The Drama is amazing and I recommend it to everyone!Watch it when you want to watch great actors and a cute>_< plot with many feelings in it!:D
Thanks for opening this, I had completely forgotten about this drama, which I started a couple of years ago but put on hold for reasons I can't recall. I remember reading a few very good reviews though.
I may fish it up again. :)

JAY another one who likes this drama here!:)
Well this thread piqued my interest. I put it on my plan to watch list.
Just finished ep 7 and ohmygosh I was NOT expecting Taka to slap her...I was used to seeing him all nice and playful-ish. But this change into an obsessive boyfriend is somewhat interesting hmm lol
It is on my ptw list and i will watch it ... :>
@WontonDumpling: I was really shocked as well. Until then I really liked Taka, but hitting is no good ;_; got pretty scared and I felt really bad because Mei didn't seem to realize how bad he hurt her until then ._....
I watched the movie first... And now I'm watching the drama... I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I already watched the movie:)
^^Actually I finished the drama and I was really hooked up with the story itself, very touching though. But when I found out that there's also a live action on it,I'm still hesitating to watch it. But it's really worth watching anyway I think**
I liked this series. I actually just watched it for Kimura Ryo to be honest. >>; I felt really sad for his character. T-T
i'm adding it to my list..just because i like the poster bahahahhaha :p
I saw it and it is a nice drama. The story talks about drugs, physical abuse and stuff we don't see in other dramas so it makes it interesting. It is easy to watch and short so it doesn't take too much time to watch it.
I'm watching it right now...it's a beautiful story, and it deals with some pretty serious stuff! Every single episode is heart warming and heart-breaking at the same time...and I love how it focuses not only on love, but also on friendship and family relationship!
I'm done watching this one. I'm not really into it, and to be blunt, I have to say that it's not that very moving if you'll compare it to other dramas out there. Or maybe because I'm just expecting too high for this drama (the trailer says something like "the story that makes blah blah millions of people cried") that's why I'm disappointed. And boo for the movie, it's just a compilation of the series. But seeing Junpei took the lead role in this drama made watching the series worth my time (lol, at least for me). And just a shoutout to all Junpei Mizobata's fans there, anyone would like to recommend a good movie/drama where he's starring since I'm running out of movie/dramas to watch! Feel free to pm me.
