Synopsis

Majisuka Gakuen 3 is a AKB48 drama. This drama will be the sequel to their previous drama, ?Majisuka Gakuen 2?. It will be set in the year 20×× in a privately run juvenile prison called ?Prison HOPE? or better known as ?Majisuka Prison?. The prison accommodates juvenile delinquents who have been abandoned by society, school, and even their families, and are put into different groups. Rather than trying to turn over a new leaf, the girls step into a battle ring everyday to compete for the top in a game of the survival of the fittest. -tokyohive

Just watched the first ep RAW. The good news is, it's way better than Season 2. The bad news is, it doesn't have the same atmosphere as Season 1. They probably should have named it Majisuka Prison? Paruru's first fight reminded me of Acchan's first fight, it gave me the goosebumps. It has the potential to be amazing, but in a different way than season 1. Can't wait for HD and subs. It has FINALLY begun

There are already subs out for the first episode at the great SUB48 forum. I'm also really looking forward to watching season 3, but I really want this to tie into the old series and it looks vastly different. Or at least have the main senbatsu AKB members in it in some way. As it is "Majisuka Gakuen 3" and not just a completely new show.

I'll wait to start watching this until a few more episodes is out or the wait might make me go crazy. :p

Really? I thought season 2 was alot better than season 1. It went off and did it's own thing more where characters like Gekihara and Nezumi actually became human and not just over the top evil. They got rid of the awful comic relief Daruma who was a constant needle to the eye during the first season.

All in all, I felt they improved on every aspect. It had a great ending, the fighting was better, characters more fleshed-out and overall it was "deeper".

First ep is subbed and posted on DC. I promised myself I would at least wait until it was subbed...but as soon as I saw the raw was out, I didn't hesitate a second to watch it. Team 4's acting has improved. Yeah I liked season 1 a lot better than 2. I agree with you about Daruma but that's the only thing I didn't like about it. Gekikara was my favorite character on season 1, she was over the top evil and that's why I loved her. She went way beyond what anyone else did as far as just letting loose and going crazy. She wasn't bad in season two and I LOVED the pop/rock necklace that she wore that changed with her mood. My favorite scene with her was that fight Acchan, she was picking up chairs and had blood all over her face, it was awesome. I must have watched that scene like 10 times already. I could stand Nezumi in season 1, but season 2 just made me hate her. In fact I seriously don't like Watanabe Mayu at all now. Every time I see her or hear her talk I think of her character and how evil and scheming she was (even though I know she's sweet in real life). The fight scenes were more professionally done in season 2, but I strongly preferred the unpolished chaotic fight scenes in season 1. Kojiharu is my favorite AKB girl right now, but Paruru is almost a close second...(and only after 1 epsidoe).

Yeah, the whole pop/rock necklace was great. Gekikara was one of my favorite characters too, which is why I liked it when they show us in season two that she has got some weak sides to her aswell. Nezumi is that kind of character that I personally "love to hate". She is scheming and plotting, using people for her own gains. And Mayu did a great job playing her. She did become more unlikeable in season two with the whole Center thing etc. But I kinda liked that because we get to see how people start seeing through her and just treating her like the "mouse" she is.

The final episode came out !!! But only in raw so I will wait~ It´s a lot better than season 1+2 :) Really a lot^^

I finished watching season 3 and I watched the other two seasons and I must admit I didn't like the ending. Hopefully the will continue it and they should have really called it Majisuka Prison because it had no involvement with the school whatsoever. I liked season 1 more than season 2 because of Daruma and how Maeda slowly made it to the top. I think it would have been better if for season 3 Center faced Rappapa like Maeda did, but I liked how season 3 overall came out.

Totally thought it said Majisuka Gokusen then looked at the picture and thought girl version of Gokusen. Anyway never heard of this but sounds pretty awesome and will totally start watching season 1.
