need a new drama to watch

Not in the mood to watch more mystery/detective dramas. No high school drama related in it as well.A drama that is very good to watch or one of your favorites. just something with drama in it

Mask had some mystery to it but it wasnt what drove the plot.

Ito-kun A to E (Many faces of Ito)

Ashi Girl (although she is a school girl she is sent back in history)

Joker Gamer (the kamenashi film not the weird high school horror film drama)

Gantz and Gantz 2 --if you like sci fi and action

Assassination Classroom While it is high school, it isnt like the rest

Nagasaki Memories of my son --this will absolutely make you cry

K... Tantei Yamaneko is fun

Final Fantasy XVI:Dad of light - only 8 eps story well told.

I am still watching Hidarime Tantei EYE and it is shaping up pretty well for the main character being a middle school kid (this is not a school drama though).

I could recommend more but pick from these and the excellent choices in the previous posts first.

Since you didn't indicate genre, I just went into your ptw list to see if anything looked familiar. I was so excited to find my all-time favourite drama Mare! Even though it's long, it's super enjoyable and there is definitely drama like you're looking for. No mystery/detective plots either. Since the drama follows Mare from childhood to adulthood there's a high school part but it's limited so I wouldn't let that deter you.

Other than that, I'm watching Manhattan Love Story right now and I'm absolutely loving it. It's a comedy (and it's actually really funny!) but there's definitely lots of drama among the characters and many plot twists that will keep you interested! Plus no mystery/detective/high school plots. I think it really fits what you're looking for!
