Hi

I know the title is weird , but that the best I could do .

Let's share the drams we kept putting off, but that turned out great, and why.

I'll start  :

Sumika sumire :  I didn't like the idea of an old woman (60s) falling in love with a younger boy (20s), but the drama was one of the best romcoms I watched so far.

Last cinerella : same as above but the acting was great ^^ I was like why didn't I watch this drama earlier than this  xD

I'm home : the poster is really bad and doesnt give this drama justice. This drama is awsome.

GTO  1998: I watched the remake first , since I don't like watching old dramas , but this one was amazing ^^

^^ what's in your list ?

kill me heal me

healer .... for now ... im still completing my list since i have summer vacation <3

Love 020 ,

I usually dont watch CDrama.. was putting off this drama for almost a year..finally gave it a chance...Man oh man ,,was totally blown off...it is one of my fav now...

Also , "Kill me heal me" is on PTW list for a while....saving it for my slump days!!

RMPW - I have no justifiable reason for putting this off apart from being in a "mood" where I felt completely bored after watching this for 15 seconds. ????  Tried it again several years later and loved it, ha ha. It sounds like a typical romcom but it doesn't come off as one, plus Oguri Shun nailed it as always. He and Ishihara Satomi have great chemistry here, too.

1 Litre of Tears - I wasn't prepared to bawl my eyes out with this one for a long, long time. When I was, I watched it --- and I cried through every episode. A sad story, but one that's also very moving.

Juhan Shuttai! - because a "business" drama  would surely be boring. I gave it a chance after seeing a certain screencap, though, and it became one of my top favorites. It was unexpectedly cute, funny, and cheerful.

Scarlet Heart Ryeo - I watched the Cdrama 1st and loved it and was scared to watch the Kdrama version thinking it would flop. But it was just as good!....& just as frustrating at the end :'-(....still HIGHLY recommend.

first two are good. i picked up juhan shuttai because it was so hihly rated then after an episode or so its on my hold or dropped list. perhaps i shud give it anotehr try but it seemed really boring to me. and ueno juri i think is the main and im not smuch into her. so i guess its still gonna be there for a long time.

Not Ueno Juri, but Kuroki Haru plays the MC. I haven't seen her in anything else but I think she is a snug fit for the role of Kokoro. Sakaguchi Kentaro and Odagiri Joe are also in it with support roles.

You could give another try to see if your mind's changed, although Juhan Shuttai might not be your kind of drama, either. It happens.

thanks for the correction! fair enough!

just give it a try, it is hilarious ^^

Tomorrow With You – I started watching it just when new episodes were getting posted but I found the story was progressing too slowly and I got bored...but later on in the year I found it again. It's on my favourite K-drama list now :))

It's pretty different and unique compared to other K-dramas I've seen so far in regards to use of camera (that's quality use of camera...and sound also! You can literally hear the actors swallowing!! :') Although I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not...)

The casting was really good as well – very talented actors! And the character development was great, like everything the characters did made sense.

I've written more about it on my favourite K-dramas list so you guys can go ahead and check it out if you want :]

Exactly ^^ this was one of the uplifting dramas I watched this year ^^

Tumbling - The synopsis sounded weird and the poster didn't help, I thought it will be one of those weird dramas but I liked it very much, it actually made me cry at the last episode.

Kazoku Game - Even though I'm a huge Sakurai Sho fan, I though this would be a family drama and I'm not so fond of that type of dramas that's why I kept putting it off, but this drama was more than that it was pretty unexpected and the mystery of who Sho's character was made it really entertaining.

My list is: Nobunaga Concerto, Tonbi, Tokyo Bandwagon, My Boss my Hero and many others..

I put off many good dramas, and Last Cinderella was one of  them  xD  About  the drama "I'm home " I skept it for the same reason

I'll try to keep it Japanese based, those were the ones i really couldnt get into at first that let me a big impression :

Anna-san no omame ok i think you need a lot of 2nd degree to take this drama without punching your screen but if you can handle it the main character and in general the main story is SO over the top that it becomes hilarious.

Ie uru onna quite popular but i couldnt really connect with the main female lead... At first, then of course i began to idolize her. this is a very well made J-dorama in the tradition of J-dorama : rythm, jokes, punchlines in your face, music, she's a bit the woman from doctors but she's selling houses now. get it ?

Hero 2 Never saw anything from this franchise before tbh. but if you want to laugh and be moved as well here come your heroes

Seisei suruhodo aishiteru I gave this so much sh*t at first. i remembered having an argument with a friend over this and posting here about how much I found this cliche and untasteful. The thing about this drama is that everyone is better than you. more beautiful, more successful, got their things together, and are complaining about every little thing. also it is the less real drama that is in a way the more real with relationships, I know doesnt make sense. so it's a love/hate relationship with this one but try it.

For me it's
Jealousy Incarnate: I kept putting it off because it's about 24 episodes long, but I loved watching it later
and
Another Miss Oh: I thought it wouldn't be that great but it turned out to be one of my favourites!
