Suggest me some JP Movies ( Rom/Com and Non-high school)

PS:   this is for my Korean friend XD. She said only JP drama she didnt drop - Mr. Brain. 

My top 5 (in descending order, #1 being my favorite j-drama rom-com non-high school)

So one that is a rom/com but without the high school element or set primarily in a high school? Well then my list of movies will have to be:

Beyond the Memories - based on a manga
Dakishimetia: Shinjitsu no Monogatari - this one is based on a true story which might make it more melodramatic than a rom/com
Clover - based on a manga
The Kodai Family - based on a manga
April Fools - this one is more of a comedy than a romance since there are multiple stories that intertwine with one another but there is still romance
Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru - The Liar and His Lover (based on a manga and there is even a Korean drama too)
The 100th Love with You
Train Man: Densha Otoko
Vampire in Love

Non-High School.

Here are some Japanese romcoms not set in high school: 

• Hotaru no Hikari (two seasons +a movie! highly recommend!!)
• Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu (highly recommend!!)
• Zenkai Girl

My rainy day has a high school back drop, but they talk about bullying at school. However this aspect is not connected to the romance. Anyway, it’s a nice romantic movie if you give it a try.

Other than that, clover is a nice Japanese movie that is based on a manga :)

I just realized I only recommended dramas even though you asked for movies! It's cause I read "the only drama she didn't drop" in your first message and got a bit mixed up!! whoops!
