I held off picking up Chugakusei Nikki initially but my god what a blockbuster. Im glad I didnt wait till it ended and can appreciate the weekly feels and be a part of it.
Despite believing forbidden romance and Arimura Kasumi wasnt my type especially after Narratage. But this... done so right. Realistic plot, amazing script writing and directing, excellent characterization, spot on acting especially male lead, and beautiful music too.
Only halfway through so too early for me to judge, but I wouldn make a fuss at the current 9.3 on MDL. I agree with the sentiments its been such a long time since we have had such a wholesome Jdorama.
i still really believe in this sort of love. its the only type i would ever pursue.
