Just finished it. rated it 10 (quite rare for me) Mixed feeling : very sad to see it end, I really enjoy every minute of the show, which is generally quite rare, even in my favorites. but in the meantime, i'm really satisfied by the way the story was led from beginning until the end. I didn't have much expectations in the beginning (just wanted to see Sakurai on my screen again, just as many fangrils) and it turned out to be very good. and i'm a little bit angry cause i've seen some very bad comments about it on another website. Maybe Masterpiece is not the right term, maybe we can discuss Sakurai's acting skills (i'm not confident enough to discuss that cause I don't thnik I've got any qualifications to make such assumptions), maybe the pretty good ending was a little bit predictable, yes. But I enjoyed the numerous twists, the perversity of Yoshimoto sensei, the tension between family members and towards Sakurai's character. The drama is using long period of silence (we don't see that in that way in other dramas), and they offer a good balance with emotionally intense scenes. Sakurai playing Yoshimoto's craziness was astonishing, and I find it too rare in J-dramas to not appreciate it when it occurs. In a word, I was happy to have been fooled all along the show! A kind of catharsis that only fiction can offer, and a very good way to make us reflect on our modern societies (am i putting to much behind it?). and, pretty rare too, a good ending for me. i'm not expecting much more (no special, no second season too, though I would certainly watch them if there is more). "ii neee !!!" is a sentence that will never be the same after this.
I rated it a 10 too. I really liked Sho's acting in this, I think my favorite moments in this drama is when he was beating up the older brother especially the golf club scene and that whole stabbing part. I also liked the relationship with Shigeyuki and Koya.

I started this drama as well, it's different and Shou is acually doing a great job here; I am looking forward to the rest of it.

LOL! I thought about that too :D

Anyway, I am six episodes in and I am so in love with this! Crazy sensei and shattered family are going to make it to the top drama of the year for me. I like Shige and I consider him as my favorite character in the drama but Shinichi is interesting too, I know he's cold and selfish but I really want to see what will crazy Koya sensei do about him because after all, he's not easy to handle like his ototo; this is going to be so cool.
I finished it! What an amazing drama!

It's tough to make me enjoy a drama from the beginning to the end but this drama managed to do so! I liked every second of it, I appreciated the storyline and the flawless acting. This is the best drama of the year, Japan's way of doing things is making me fall for it even more and more.
