What Jdramas do you think are underrated?

After seeing(or rather making) the Flavor of the week, I was wondering what jdramas do people think are underrated?
And if someone says Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, im going to laugh.

For me, i'd say Jdramas like Shiroi Haru, Godhand Teru(personal favorite), and Bara no Nai Hanaya to naem a few.

I also vote for Shiori Haru and Bara no nai Hanaya.

My favorite JDramas are Jotei and Kamisama, Mou Sukoshi Dake. They both really grabbed me right away with dramatic storylines and characters that I really felt for. :D

Agree 100% on Bara No Nai Hanaya. I think Meitantei No Okite is underrated too, and so are Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni and Orange Days.

What? Yamato Nadeshiko bla bla is way OVERrated, if I may, not the opposite.

Godhand Teru will soon be on my to-watch list. :)

Yeap, Ymato Nadeshiko is super overrated....
Lol, God hand Teru is on my list but I still didn't manage to lay a hand on it...

I'm not too much into the Jdrama world yet (I started out as a Kdrama fan) but I just finished watching Yankee-kun to Megane-chan and it isn't a drama I've heard a lot about and I thought it was fantastic with great acting.

Yamato Nadeshiko was like watching a bad joke. I never got wrapped up in the story, but I couldn't stop watching it, lol. I just had to know if it was possible for this drama to get any worse and hoping it would get better. Meitantei No Okitei and Orange Days were ok, but I didn't watch more than a few episodes of each. I plan to try again but fear these may be the new "overrated" dramas.

Now for some suggestions...
For serious/dark: Aishiteru, The Queen's Classroom, and Guilty
For funny/light: King of Room
For corny/stupid, but entertaining: Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi, Moyashimon

I second LIFE. I watched it over two nights and haven't found anything as good that deals with the same theme. LIFE is also one of the reasons why Kitano Kii is my favorite actress.

Stand Up
I think that lots of pple dont know this one... which is strange, cause there are soe pretty good actors in it (YamaPi, Oguri Shun, Narimiya Hiroki, Ninomiya Kazu and Suzuki Anne)... its from year 2003 (they were sooo cute in that young age ^_^) and the story is amazing. It is optimistic, funny, full of friendship and problems with first sexual experiences ^_^ yet it also resolves some deeper probles (such as hypocracy of grown ups, hardships in life and some bad experiences). But all in all... its my favourite drama and for me it has the same good feeling as Nobuta wo Produce (which meens its also amazing :)

Untouchable
Wow... really... wow. I just found it, watching the second episode and im like O_o This drama is so cool! Its Japanese, and there is Nakayama Yukie (lovely Yankumi from Gokusen), Kaname Jun and Sato Tomohito. The story is about a reporter, who investigates some cases. Its not cheesy or stupid. Interesting story, great atmosphere so far :)
