OK, so I've started watching Ando Lloyd, until episode 5 and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised about it (I thought it would have been really bad). It has good actors, action, visual effects. I like the way the action parts and more sentimental parts are mixed. That being said, I think that the script has some loopholes. For example, in episode 1, Lloyd is supposed to need 2 weeks to recharge but in a few hours it was OK. Furthermore, I think that the characters lack of personnality. Whatever happened to them, I don't really care. To conclude I would say Ando Lloyd is pleasant to watch but it's not the drama of the year for sure.
I don't know why people find this confusing. If you dislike science fiction dramas then you simply shouldn't watch.

Hahaha well said! I like this drama too even with the negative comments.

Not only negative but also repulsive at times. It's clearly not the drama for everyone so why bother with it if you know that your taste won't accept it?
People will watch what they want to watch. Sometimes watching a drama they dislike and ranting about it is an outlet. *shrugs* lol I started this last night and watched two episodes. When the nurse appeared I went "Ooh, Piece girl!" and laughed. I'm not particularly impressed by the cast, but the CG effects are worth sticking around for. At least for now. It feels like a "7" drama, but let's see.
I'm a SciFi fan, an action fan, and a Kimura fan so this show is hitting all the right buttons for me.
That woman in Asahi(?)'s office is so annoying. I can't stand her.

Neither do I.

On another note, I finished this drama. It was great and I loved Kimmy's performance in here.
I just finished episode 5 this drama seems okay i keep expecting more from it though and im a tad disappointed, its not really believable alot of the time, i mean mainly the relationship between the Android and Ando Asahi, she seems to be unaffected over her husbands death its just not believable enough to me, both the main characters seem like there lacking depth Asahi more so than the Android anyone else feeling this way?

It changes afterwards. And there's no actual romance.

Anyway, I finished the drama and I am quite pleased with it :D
