I remember having the exact same thought only earlier this year... My first drama was Rich Man, Poor Woman. I watched HYD soon after (I think it was my 4th drama) and I fell for it almost immediately (even if I found parts of it very strange because I didn't know a lot about j-drama) and watched it obsessively in three days. So, I'm one of the people who really loved it... On the other hand, I can't explain why! It's silly and sometimes plain stupid (and - going against the popular opinion - I don't really like the main couple as a couple), but something about it sucked me in completely... It's strange.
