It was Hana Yori Dango. (ノ*゚ー゚)ノ
It is still my favorite drama.
I believe the first one was Hana Kimi (2007), but I wasn't prepared for such a craziness (eventhough it's now one of my most favourite dorama), but the one, which made me want more, was Nobuta wo Produce.
My first one was LIFE if I remember correctly.
I'm probably alone in this one how I see everyone watching hit-dramas as their firsts, but my first was Ace wo Nerae. I honestly can't remember why it was my first though, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. XD
My first Japanese drama was Ouran High School Host Club. I'd seen bits of others previously but Ouran was the first I actually watched.
mine is 14 sai no haha. :) I watched it when I was in elementary. it is the first ever asian drama that I saw and made me cry. But the first few drama that actually introduced me to jdramaland is gokusen & liar game. These two are always the rivals in my heart ranking top 1.
I believe mine was Gokusen
Mine was Antique. Anyone remember that? Nah, I didn't think so. I was coming off of a lot of anime and manga, specifically BL manga, and I heard this might have BL elements since it's based on Fumi Yoshinaga's award winning manga Antique Bakery (not a BL manga itself, but the manga-ka is known for her BL titles as well). In retrospect it's not the best drama, but since it was like 2005 and this was the first Asian drama I'd ever seen, it was really different from the American shows I was used to. This was before the manga was brought to the US so I had no idea how much they'd altered the original story (too bad, but at least the 2008 Korean movie captures it better). But it set me on my way into drama fandom because it was quickly followed by Gokusen, Kimi wa Petto, Full House, My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Nobuta wo Produce, etc.
Zettai Kareshi I think! Or was it Hana kimi? Well I watched both in 2011.
Buzzer Beat....Yamashita Tomohisa is soooooooo HAWT!!!!!!!!
