Last Friends

Synopsis: Last Friends tackles issues that afflict the current generation. Michiru's mother has brought a man back to their home and she is bullied at her workplace where she works as a beauty parlour assistant. She starts cohabiting with her boyfriend, a good young man who works at the Child Welfare Division and the only person who can give her emotional support, but ends up the victim of domestic violence and becomes fearful of love. The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru's in junior high school. She has performed brilliantly as a motocross racer and aims to win the national championship, but as the story progresses, a deep worry that she can neither confide in her parents or close friends grows evident. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist acquainted with Ruka. He is a good confidant to females due to his kindness and perceptiveness, and finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of a past trauma. The three of them become house mates and through their associations with others, gain the capacity to be positive about life.

C4Y... Is this airing now or is it complete? this looks interesting. I might want to add this so I'd like to know what you think so far.
It's completed, Jeanie. This is one of those very few drama's I felt strongly enough about to write a review, crappy review, none the less. It's an awesome drama, and since I don't know how to do the type in white stuffs, I won't say to much, except for get ready to laugh, cry, and throw a fit.

YAY! I will keep an eye out, just to see what you think of the drama.. I just re-read the review I wrote and its awful, and the scoring wasn't right either.. the music is a 7 just because I don't remember the music.. the 9s, should be 10s, but I think that when I did the review the system was a little screwy.. so eh..
I finished the first 2 episodes last night and it is pretty good - it's on the more mature and realistic side of things.

Very much so, I think the reason I give this drama a 10, is because while it has been a year or so more since I have watched it, I can still remember and feel how it affected me when I was watching it. I have thought about re-watching it, to see if I still feel the same way. I think this is one of the drama's everyone should watch at some point, because the reality is, its to true to be fiction.
I put it on my currently watching list because I didn't want it to get buried in PTW! lol.

Agreed, I've only seen the first 2 episodes but it has that feel "this could happen" and not only that but "This does happen" and it's acted out really well from what I'm noticing. I have a friend who was in a similar situation to the main girl, while her situation was different, it's still scary.
