[Discussion] Last Friends

I just finished it and it was great! It's one of those dramas that just has that feel to it that makes it to where you can't stop watching. I'll add it to my list of serious Jdramas that blew me away. Oh, and as someone has already said, Ueno Juri is the best actress ever. I have now seen her in 4 completely different roles and she has completely taken on the character in every one. She was by far the best actor/actress in this show. I liked Eita too though. He was the 2nd best.

Spoiler---- I was really hoping that Ruka and Takeru were going to get together but they didn't. However when he told her he loved her as a human and they hugged and cried it was very touching. i think it ended interestingly too. 3 people that unconditionally love each other without having to involve sex in it. I also liked how they said Sousake's suicide wasn't the answer, even though he was horrible to Michiru. He needed counseling or something too. Unfortunately he didn't get it.

I agree:-) his presence alone made last friends like horror suspense drama..kekeke!!!

It started off relatively innocent, being the much awaited drama of that season, with all those mega stars, then it developed, then it just became way too complex and disorganized for my liking.

I love Ryo but the character is ......... amazing and hateful.
