Sorry, I don't understand how it works with the age:
Her younger half-sister is 10 years younger than her and she is already involved (married) with her man / husband; Song Mo has been favored by the emperor for 12-13 years; she has been a successful businesswoman… all these were mentioned at some point during the storytelling.How can She be 17 and he 16 when they get married ?

I didn't read it in the novel but I read a comment someone mentioned that in the first life, Song Mo had a lot of concubines.

Dou Zhou in the current universe is Song Mo's first woman.  He is just 16 years old.
