Lee Jin Wook is not innocent

When the Lee Jin Wook rape controversy is mentioned, the comments point out that he was declared innocent. I wonder if the users making such claims have read all the articles on his case because I found surprises:

Lee Jin Wook did not receive a sentence because the judge said that not giving consent is not enough to be considered rape.

disappointing but not surprising, south korea is a misogynistic country. i didn't know about his controversy because i just found out about it today, but i will gladly avoid his projects. 

it is ironic how a rapist continues to be active in the industry while yoo ah in was cancelled for using drugs.

There are just so many things coming out about the South Korean society and no surprise that the rich and famous have special privileges. I just find it odd that they can get away with sexual assault where someone's life is seriously impacted. However, when it's drug use, they come down on them far harder with longer sentences even though the only person harmed is generally the user themselves. Bizarre!

The audacity??? That's literally what rape is..

The fact that they even said that really demonstrates how they know nobody will have the power to legally contradict them without consequences. And to think he has fans who know about this...
