You should define what you mean by "toxic" in this context. Does it refer to offering constructive criticism or giving mid/average ratings to certain series based on facts? Or is it about harassing others under the guise of criticism? Personally, I've encountered a lot of the latter type here.

It seems like any form of criticism is immediately labeled as "negative" or "toxic." If your rating isn’t a glowing 10/10 or at least 9.5/10 that aligns with someone’s personal standards, you're attacked mindlessly. Some users behave like children, taking things personally and resorting to personal attacks rather than engaging with the content or the facts.

I’ve only been on this site for a couple of days. After posting my first review and leaving some comments on a series, I was already targeted and attacked by a swarm of these toxic users. I’m genuinely surprised at how many people like this are lurking on the site—and the fact that there’s a maximum report limit of only three per day doesn’t help.

Honestly, most of the ratings on this site seem overhyped, much like MyAnimeList. The lack of a "dislike" or "disagree" button further reinforces the idea that the platform prioritizes positive reviews and high ratings, likely to maintain its monetization strategy. Overall, it’s been a very disappointing experience.

Here is my current list of toxic, immature individuals who seem completely incapable of basic communication or tolerating any views that differ even slightly from their own. Their behavior reflects a lack of maturity, and their inability to engage in constructive discussions is frustrating.

I sincerely hope the site takes action against these toxic users who blatantly attack others and resort to personal insults in their comments. Creating a more welcoming and respectful environment would benefit everyone involved.

It's not about not rating this drama 10/10 or 9.5/10 that sounds immature to create such list for this. Toxic/Negative I meant was, the constant spread of negative comments in the drama page comment section. These users didn't like this drama from get-go since it was airing, instead of dropping the drama, some of these people created multiple new accounts and camped at the comment section to write dozens of negative reviews or even constantly reply negative comments about the drama like a broken record when nobody asked them to. When a new user comments and ask if this drama is good, these users would be quick to input their negative comment about it. You can say it's hatred for a drama in so-called disguise of 'criticism'.

Because of the negativity, in such way the positive comments or environment was affected, although yes I get its not always going to be positive but you know it became a page where you'd be reluctant to comment again or engage with anyone else again because of them lurking in it.

We all have different opinions which is understandable, not everyone will like a drama as personal taste and interest varies for each. I respect those who have different opinions from mine, if they do give back the same respect as well for those who have different opinion from them. In my case, if I don't like a drama, I rate it , drop it, write a review or comment my criticism but the big difference is I don't dwell on my dislike and move on to another drama. I don't stay in a dramas page to spread negativity. Mind you some of them do resort to personal attacks.

Most of those who liked this drama or those who also camped here for a while because they ended up liking this drama witnessed the toxicity this page got. So I put up this topic so that other users who might encounter them in comment section could be wary.

Sadly, the report button in this site is useless. I reported since last year. Nothing happens. We will continue encountering these type of users as long as their accounts still exist. It's pretty toxic in these site these days.

I get where you’re coming from, and I can see why consistent negativity in a comment section might feel disheartening. However, from my observations, most of the constructive criticisms I’ve seen don’t stoop to insulting the director, actors, or production staff. Instead, these critiques seem to focus on the series itself and are presented as personal opinions. I haven’t noticed many comments that cross the line into outright toxicity, as you described.

It’s important to distinguish between constructive criticism and targeted negativity or “hatred in disguise,” as you put it. Constructive criticism should be seen as just another perspective—it’s not inherently toxic or malicious. People are entitled to express their opinions, even if those opinions are critical. The issue arises when others can’t handle differing views and instead resort to attacking, degrading, or using offensive language. That’s when discussions turn toxic.

Yes, some individuals may write multiple negative reviews or frequently reply to comments with critiques, and that could come across as excessive. However, we should ask ourselves if the problem is the repetition of criticism or how it’s perceived by those who disagree with it. If users are merely expressing valid points—even repeatedly—it’s a reflection of their perspective, not necessarily “hatred” toward the drama.

I also find it ironic that some people accuse others of being disrespectful toward fans when, in reality, disrespect can go both ways. Fans who take criticism as a personal attack are often the ones creating a toxic environment by degrading or insulting those with opposing views. If we truly want a respectful space, it’s essential to allow room for all kinds of opinions, including those that criticize.

As for users lingering in the comments of dramas they didn’t enjoy, I understand your frustration. Ideally, people should drop a drama if they’re not enjoying it, leave a review, and move on. But, in fairness, forums and comment sections are public spaces meant for open discussion. If someone wants to share their critiques or engage in conversations—even ongoing ones—that’s their prerogative. Unless they’re resorting to personal attacks, there’s nothing inherently wrong with participating in discussions about a drama they didn’t enjoy.

Finally, the suggestion that repeated criticism disrupts the “positive environment” is a bit one-sided. Positive and negative opinions both have a place in open discussions. If we only welcome positivity, it creates an echo chamber that doesn’t allow for constructive dialogue or improvement. The key is to engage respectfully, regardless of whether we agree.

In the end, as long as users express their opinions respectfully and avoid personal attacks, their input remains valid—whether it’s positive or critical. The real issue lies in how people respond. A drama’s value isn’t diminished by criticism, nor is someone’s love for it invalidated because others don’t agree. We should remember that every perspective enriches the discussion, as long as it’s shared respectfully. It's sad that many people are not able to comprehen that and started attacking each other by taking things personal over something  so trivial.

What you're seeing now is the latest, recent once. This was posted last year. I've encountered them and many other users like @Precious encountered them as well since the drama finished airing. You'd know if you experienced it beforehand.

Also most of them do cross the line, especially that PKR user is a harasser. If you were here before, you'd know.
