Because of trust issues FL can't rely on ML.  like she would go about her plans thinking of multiple ways to get out of situations but never him .

And I need this to visibly bother ML. and for him to bring it out to her and tell her how hurtful it is.

Is there such a scene such as this?

Prefer costume drama to moderns for context. could be ANY country.

Thanks in advance!

🙏🙏🙏🙏

I think these may match:

A Journey to Love

FL is a contract killer and ML is also a killer but for the emperor, they love each others and protect each others in secret, sometimes they're in clash because of the different thinking. And yeah ML usually getting hurt by FL's behaviour and tells her about it at times. BE

Love Like The Galaxy

FL's hiding all her pain and trying to solve problems on her own but ML always know and solve the problems for her and ML often ask FL about what happen and to tell him everything. They're sometimes in quarrel because of FL's behaviour while FL getting angry because she feels several unlucky situation happens because of ML's family and position. HE

My Cherie Amour

FL always try to protect and make ML happy in secret, but ML always tell FL not to solve his problems for him on her own and not to decide what makes ML happy or unhappy and that he feels useless when FL's like that. HE

Romance of Tiger and Rose

FL is a transmigrator and the novelist of the world she entered. She has her own prejudice towards ML as a novel character so she treats ML like the original novel character and try her best to make the novel ending like it should so she could come back to real world. It hurts ML and ML confront her at times. HE in real world

The Princess Royal

FL and ML are both rebirth. FL is a proud princess while ML is counted as commoner who enters officialdom. Both are trying to protect each others in secret but ML getting hurt from time to time over FL choosing to cooperate with others (including a love rival) without his knowledge. Sometimes they're in quarrel. HE

There's a scene like that in Hoshi Furu Yoru ni where FL deals with a frightening situation, gets help from the SML, but not the ML and he's very hurt by that, assuming she doesn't feel he's able to be relied on because he's younger than she is and deaf.

Also maybe Fortune Writer - FL has her own goals and deals with stuff herself and ML is hurt by that toward the later part of the drama.

It's not exactly what you are looking for but dyanmics between Leads are very similar where FL are very independant and ML is worriyng sick about her (mainly He fell first and harder) :

Hi, actually I hate ending like The Red Sleeve usually though something about The Red Sleeve is different for me. Fyi, The Red Sleeve is the only sad ending/open ending I rated over 8/10. It ends with the death of a Lead BUT it is hopeful in a way for them. Don't know how to explain that, like they will be reunited eventually ? All I can say is that it was worting it. But I do understand your opinion, I too tend to avoid sad/open/bittersweet ending as much as possible since I can't stand them and my ratings drop soooo much  because of that ^^
