Hi hiii- So I have 3 flavours of noona I wanna ask reccs for

- Historical noona. Either the leads, secondary leads or an otherwise prominent secondary couple. Ideally non-fantasy age gaps but fantasy ones are fine as long as there's a clear difference between the leads and it isn't just a throwaway line

- Parenthood noona. Where either of the (or both) leads are a parent.

- Accurate noona. Where it's a believable older woman/younger man dynamic and there are genuine differences between the two. A lot of the noona content I find has a super naïve, never-had-a-boyfriend FL who just so happens to be a bit older while ML acts like a 40 year old man in a 20 year old's body which to me isn't very realistic, much less appealing. So a well established, mature woman (ideally one who's had relationships before 'cause, cmon) and a less mature, more juvenile ML.

I don't really care about big age gaps but please no adult/minor dynamics

Thanks in advance!

Some noonas dramas:

Best Choice Ever (SFL has a son)

Eternal Love (FL is much older by tens of thousand years I think and they have a son, fantasy)

Forecasting Love and Weather (FL has a cheating boyfriend, later break-up)

Knight Flower (widowed FL is definitely older, historical)

Long Vacation (FL being abandoned on her wedding day)

Romance is A Bonus Book (FL has a daughter)

Search: WWW (2 experienced? FLs are older than 2 MLs)

The Double (FL's husband tries to kill her, no explanation about age-gap but I think she's older as FL has been married for quite long time)

All versions of The Return of The Condor Heroes (Jin Yong's wuxia novel adaptation, FL is ML's teacher)

Umi no Hajimari (FL is older, ML has a daughter)

Why Women Love- Career woman kind of FL. She's mature, but never been in a relationship. The ML has to come work at her company to stop  "playing around" if you would say. He decides to help her get her crush to like her, but ends up falling for her.

The ML isn't very mature haha. But he does have his serious moments. As for the FL, yes she is more on the mature side. It's a good watch, try it out.

Unforgettable Love- The ML is a parent, while the FL is a child psychologist. This probably isn't the vibe you're looking for because both leads are around the same age, so I wouldn't categorize it as a noona drama but still worth a watch if you want a drama where one of the leads is a parent.

I hear Your Voice- the plot on this one is really good. The FL is mature as she is a lawyer, but the ML is very protective of the FL. So I wouldn't call him immature. He is wise for his age in this drama. But still worth the watch as he tries to get her to fall for him.

She Would Never Know

Witch's Romance

Falling into You

Forecasting Love and Weather

Crash Course in Romance- FL is a parent

Sorry I was running out of time to write about them.. check them out to see if you like them.

My favorite trope, hehe. I can't think of dramas where either are parents but as far as the other two go, these are a few of my favorites...

All of these dramas have happy endings.

My Fated Boy

I second this one, it is well established from the beginning that she has lived a full youth. She's also much more poised and mature.

@autumn iris: A lot of great recommendations, tysm! Appreciate the explanations as well!

@asian drama lover: Awesome! Thank you for the recommendations!!

@emeraldarrows: Amazing reccs as always and a lot of variety in terms of country too! Thank you (and appreciate the ending spoilers, you know me well xD)!

@mahiba: appreciate the confirmation!

@Anne613: Thank you!!! I didn't know Love Is Science? had parenting. It's been on my radar for a v long time xD

Why Her? - Technically the FL is also a parent, but she doesn't know it.
Encounter
Kimi wa Petto

Thanks for confirming the others and for your reccs!! Also it's FL who doesn't know she's a parent? Now THAT'S unusual- I'm so curious now 👀👀
