About "Drama Shower" (BL dramas airing on MBS)

"Drama Shower" (ドラマシャワー) was an MBS time slot specialized in BL drama productions. The project was launched in April 2022 and it was originally a one-year limited project, but due to its success and popularity, MBS decided to renew it for another year. In March 2024 it was announced that My Strawberry Film would be the last installment of the time slot and that, as of April 2024, Drama Shower would be replaced by a new time slot called "Drama Fill". Drama Fill is a more generic time slot that includes non-BL series, as well (the first installment of Drama Fill is in fact the non-BL psychological thriller Ubawareta Bokutachi).

Drama Shower was a collaboration between MBS — the same broadcasting company as My Beautiful Man — and Tunku (トゥンク) — a new drama label established by KADOKAWA, which has many hit BL manga and novels under its belt. In Japanese "tunku" is an onomatopoeic word that suggests the sound of a pounding heart. The hope is that these BLs will take their viewers on an exciting journey, making their hearts beat.

Thank you for letting me know! Do you happen to have a link to the iQIYI page of Mr. Sahara & Toki-kun? I think it's region-blocked and I can't find it anywhere. I also can't find it on social media.

Yes, the videos are indeed geo-blocked for me. I can access the page with the link, but the videos are unavailable in my region. 

Could anyone let me know if Mr. Sahara & Toki-kun is the only Tunku show on iQIYI, please?

From what I can tell, yes, it's the only Tunku show.  iQiyi has a very limited selection of jdoramas (at least here in the US).  Like, literally only 2, so I was surprised they had this show.  Viki used to release them weekly...wonder why they stopped doing that...

Yeah, I'm also surprised Viki hasn't released Mr. Sahara & Toki-kun on the platform. I thought they had signed a contract with MBS for the whole Tunku bundle since all the other series are available there, but maybe that is not the case. Anyway, never say never. Maybe they'll add it later.
