Hi, I am not Chinese, so I watched Secret of Three Kingdoms with Eng subs and within 5 eps started digging for the historical references on all major characters, events, incl. the literary works for this screenplay. I will be grateful to anyone who know anything about Chinese Han/Cao Wei history and/or literature to share your knowledge, opinions, impressions on this drama and the reality of it. I already know a lot, but just want to hear from others to expand my understanding of it. Not necessarily "this has nothing to do with history" - just genuine reflection on what you know and saw. After 7 years since they made it, it is still an important item.
My most important observation is that the idea of a twin was brilliant -but was it even possible?
