Kang Full Universe | Webtoon Discussion [ SPOILERS ]

big spoilers for kang full enthusiast

i thought yang sung sik ( detective ) is just a new character to freshen the og story because only him doesn't appear in light shop webtoon ver ( cmiiw ). but as i just read kang full other work "Timing", oh gosh, he is one of the main character there and hes also got some power like people in "Moving"! so his character should be the overarching plots for "Moving" sequel? ( i hope ).

 
I just check kang full's page and there is only Moving season 2 , i wonder if he also has "Timing" and "Again" in the plan or if he will just merge the time control people back story into Moving S2. I am hoping for a short series for them though, i am still reading Timing, and it is such a great mix between Light Shop ( horror ) and Moving ( fantasy superhero ).

My spoilers are based on the chinese movie.

There is no superpower cross connection.

A bus accident happens and people in the bus get caught up. Bus rammed into a sand truck so we also have 2 drivers. Bus driver is FL's boyfriend and Sand Truck driver is trying to find people and save them in the chinese version.

Saving = person buys a light bulb.

Each couple story focuses on their relationship and how one is trying to save their loved one. E.g. mom is dead and is trying to save her daughter by asking her to purchase the light bulb. Ghost at Author's house is her GF and they fought right before boarding the bus - this GF covered her partner so that she does not die and now switches off all lightbulbs so that GF will go and buy a light bulb. White lady is fiance who has already passed away and is trying to save the guy who got a cut in his abdomen during accident. Old man keeps singing a tune and walking that alley because he is stuck in a memory of dropping his son (korean seems to have changed this a bit with a high school boy)... this guy is coupled with the sand truck man .. who perishes but saves the old man (i assume in korean drama they may do high school boy and that man who is going around looking for people)

FL is alive and is the only person who should not be here, baffling light shop owner. The reason she is here is because she is unable to accept the facts.. and her love and yearning desire to hold onto her boyfriend lands her in this universe

as it is webtoon discussion, i recommend you to read the og story. china adaptation is the one who made a lot of change from og story. the korea live adaptation is pretty much the same as the original story.

I am sure because chinese censorship doesn't allow a lot of thngs..

Unless there is a free complete eng. translation of webtoon available, i won't be reading it

So, what is High School student story? male one.. and the school friends? because chinese made it seem like alternate verse where only those people exist who are between life and death.. the only exception being FL... so are school friends also dead? Or all NPCs that we see (school's existence and people therein, bus the guy boards and meets white lady.. it has different people each time)

Timing and connection to Moving is possible given a) Moving 2 is in the making b) We ended Moving 1 with the main character of timing right? The time traveler? ( I am not 100% what timing is about)

BUt also, if they are merging the two universes... it will be a let down (again strictly going by chinese version... the concept that is shown is very self containing, more real, and pretty amazing storytelling with great imagination)

I just checked the synopsis of Timing.. and you are right... based on overview it seems easy to merge the 2 worlds

Just curious, why isn't Hyunju saved yet, if she has been buying a light bulb everyday?

Good point. What kept her from buying in the first episode though? I remember light shop owner offering her candy, did that distract her from buying that time? And I remember she drops by the shop to buying light bulbs everyday, surely she should've at least bought one by now?
