Is this at all a Bromance situation?

I love watching close relationships of any form.

So before I start watching I want to know if the undercover guy actually cares about the boss guy at all or if it's all in fact for his operation. 

it feels like a one sided bromance in a way?? Gichul at least seems to value the ML and actually cares about him but the opposite is not true considering that he is undercover but also the wife situation and all.
