Dropped, & dramas I wish I'd dropped

It was meh, noting outstanding about it. Thai BLs are starting to feel like they are adding racy scenes for no reason in particular. I don't mind steamy scenes, if they further the story, but in this drama they felt like they were just there, no real purpose, except to be steamy scenes.

I think it's lazy writing to make a 'strong' female lead by making her abusive and deceitful. Almost everyone in the drama seems to be one or the other if not both.

It pains me to drop a Ji Chang Wook drama

bullying, random violence, I get far too irritated when the FL is a pushover and it seems that it bothers me just as much if it's the ML who is, and even more when it's JCW's character.

I loved the Special Episode, but I feel that the writers ruined the drama with the infidelity trope, there could have been plenty of story and drama without it.

It's very slow, which I can usually deal with, but it was also frustrating, Duean Yi is quite self absorbed and ep 7 when he should have been able to tell that Pleng wanted nothing to do with First but wouldn't let him explain and then the waterworks. Oh please, I'm out.

(aka - Color of Romance) The FL is supposed to be the MLs & SMLs boss but they easily push her around, she's a doormat with absolutely no backbone, it's just another Japanese 'romance' where the ML doesn't understand consent.

Eesh, the angst starts off early, I might have tried to continue if it wasn't so dated (to be expected, it's from 2013) but I'm not in the mood for melodrama, I just wanted the fantasy & suspense.

This was one of the first historical dramas I watched, before I realized that I rarely enjoy them.

I can't quite remember why I dropped it, but I'd guess there awas far too much palace politics, I usually want to throw the left/right ministers off a cliff.

Another JCW drama, I can't watch Wookie being abused

I hate Eun O, she knows she torturing Jae Won and refuses to show up. He's too good for her, I hope he moves on. This is a throw you laptop type drama for me, I just can't see finishing it.

I wanted it like this, it has a similar plot to Perfect Marriage Revenge which I really liked, but this one tortured the FL too much. I though one nasty wench was enough, but to throw in another even worse love rival near the end is beyond my tolerance.

I dropped this because the 'best friends' were so two-faced and awful to the FL, I couldn't stand them and worried for the safety of my laptop. Even so, for some reason I wanted to know how this one ended so I got a recap of episodes 12 - 17 from a friend and watched the last bit of the final episode.

This just went on and on. Same story as BOF but with so much filler, it felt like it was never going to end. The added content didn't do anything for me, it's just extra drama to drag out the series.

They are both supposed to be professionals, him a CEO, her a journalist, but they aren't in the least professional. They both play petty games, it's annoying.

I knew I shouldn't start it, but it just sounded so interesting, and I like Yeo Jin Goo's acting, but there's too much political drama for me. Yeo Jin Goo's acting was amazing, and part of me wants to finish, but there's just too much angst.

This movie was so disjointed, it really seemed like the director told everyone where to start, gave them the gist of the plot and let them improvise the rest. It was a mess. If I didn't have my watch party friends to keep me company this would have been a complete waste of time.

I should have gone with my instincts and dropped it; I almost never enjoy melodramas. The father and secretary having no retribution simply pisses me off.

I don't know how I made it to the 5th series, I should have stopped watching the Handsome Cowboy, he was far too toxic and couldn't stay faithful for more than 5 minutes.

I  couldn't finish The Foxy Piolet, Aurora is so selfish and self-centered, I can't imagine how anyone would fall for her.

I should have dropped this one, Sibtit isn't just a 'bad boy' he's toxic and has no redeeming qualities, and Prikkang lets herself be a doormat and keeps taking him back.  I can't imagine how I finished it.

I started Under the Queen's Umbrella thinking it was about the queen trying to get her mischievous sons under control. Why would I think an historic Kdrama would be humorous and fun. Nope, the Dowager and consorts are as awful and scheming as ever. Nope, just nope.

It seems to be well written and acted, so I'm sure it's a good drama if you enjoy the usual palace intrigue.

Reviews on this were good, and it seemed like a lighthearted drama, but I don't like how the FL is written. Mostly it's her disregard of ML as a father, and actively trying to keep him out of Quanquan's life. My breaking point was FL gaslighting her son.
