Favorite 2018 Kdramas
Ones I adore, couldn't get enough of and binged as much as possible.

1. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
I'm drawn to his drama, even now. I love the focus on beauty standards and the focus on different students in the college, all whom have their own issues. It's covers so many issues young people face in today's society.
Cha Eun-woo's acting may not be solid but he fulfils his role and I'm not saying that just because he's good looking, but it helps.

2. On Your Wedding Day
Korean Movie - 2018
I loved this movie so much, my heart still wrenches at the thought of it. Starring Kim Young-kwang and Park Bo-young as besties since high school they are every bit as amazing as I though they'd be.

3. Where Stars Land
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
This is an underrated gem that I've never heard anyone mention. Set in Incheon international airport some co-workers fall in love while discovering secrets. I was not expecting this secret at all.
I started watching this when I realised Chae Soo-bin was the main actress only to discover Lee Je-hoon was the main lead, have been waiting to see him in a romance, and it's filled with young actors whose careers have bloomed since. The climax does teeter in this shows attempts to fill 16 episodes but i's nowhere near as bad as many more popular ones that exist.

4. 100 Days My Prince
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Second historical drama I've finished. The cold, heartless prince wakes up with amnesia and has to learn how to live life like a normal person.
I love DO as an actor, he is what I consider in the top 2 male idol-actors. I've been waiting for him to do a romance drama and I was not disappointed. For me this drama would have been nothing without him and his brilliant acting and I would not have finished it.

5. The Beauty Inside
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Seo Hyun-jin as Han Se-gye is all I needed in this drama, she's beautiful as a top actress and it's funny seeing all the random actors they get to play her changed self.
This one drags on a little to hit their episode quota but I love the actors and their characters so much that I'm happy to stare at their pretty faces.

6. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
The first slice of life Kdrama brought in a new age of slice of life romances. An amazing blend of noona romance and workplace struggles that subtly focuses on South Korea's taboos.
Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae-in in the same drama together is something I can never get enough of. They're the most beautiful noona couple and I wish them the happiness of being in each other's arms forever (the characters that is). It's another drama where the climax gets dragged on though and I don't understand why they got so much hate and backlash from the people around them. Or maybe the writer just had nothing else to go on about. I would've been happy just watching them go on dates and being the super sweet couple they are.

7. Miss Hammurabi
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
This is based off a book written by a real South Korean judge so it's as realistic as it can get.
L, Go Ara and Sung Dong-il is a trio I never thought I'd find brilliant but they are and this drama is. The juxtaposition of their characters is a fresh of breath air that is both hilariously out of this world and deeply rooted in reality. It gets a bit dull around ep 5 or so but picks up again better than ever. I love all the topics that are explored in this drama and there are many.
