Sweet and fascinating
There are a lot of cute romantic comedies that are so sweet that they can give you diabetes. Today I'm introducing you some dramas where besides sweetness there's also something more, something that won't let you forget about these dramas for long.

1. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Hm, the title does not suggest that this is a sweet and cute drama. The description probably doesn't either. However, you only need to watch the first episode to see how sweet the relationships between the characters are, and I don't mean just ML/FL. Some scenes in this drama are so cute that even an enemy of sweetness in dramas like me melted like liquid caramel. However, this drama is about very serious issues so I guess the sweetness is meant to ease the seriousness and it works out great. Viewers can argue among themselves about which of ML's personalities is the most adorable. I give my vote to Perry Park.

2. Love in the Moonlight
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
As much as I am an enemy of comedies where a woman pretends to be a man, this tiny eunuch turning our prince's life upside down is really cute. The drama has the lightness and romance of impressionist painters and, most importantly, it's not completely boring and trite.

3. The Untamed
Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes
I can't believe I'm putting this drama on this list, but yes, "The Untamed" is very cute. This is all Xiao Zhan's fault, whose Wei Wuxien is the embodiment of charm and coquettishness and his smile is simply unforgettable. Wei Wuxien is the embodiment of charm, but he's also a tragic hero undergoing an inner transformation, so despite his seemingly empty exterior, he's a deep and complex character that really allows for a bit of reflection.

4. Entertainer
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
The four young men who make up the band, their inexperienced manager and the slightly too experienced agency head are a mix that suggests the potential for sweetness. In fact, it does. The interactions between the characters are absolutely adorable and the whole drama is dripping with warm energy as if wrapped in a creamy mist. However, the drama does not shy away from serious topics and touches the heart deeply.

5. Golden Bowl
Japanese Drama - 2002, 11 episodes
A young handsome businessman whose passion is bowling in order to save his favorite place teams up with an older housewife. It seems like nothing, but practically every conversation they have, every competition they participate in, every secondary character is absolutely adorable making this drama heartwarming and enjoyable to watch.

6. Man to Man
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
When an agent so clandestine that it couldn't be more so has to besmirch a spoiled movie star and seduce his down-to-earth agent, you can expect either a disaster or a story full of charm and humor. This drama gives us the latter. A lot of the latter. Fortunately, it's also extremely interesting.

7. Douluo Continent
Chinese Drama - 2021, 40 episodes
This drama is full of youthful charm. The older one, too. As a fan of the Golden Iron Triangle, I dare say that the older generation is absolutely not inferior to the younger one in scenes full of sweetness, although in their case we have salted caramel and nuts :)

8. Shine or Go Crazy
Korean Drama - 2015, 24 episodes
Another drama where a woman dresses up as a man, but for me it's more charming when the prince dresses up as a merchant. Lots of beautiful, cute scenes where you find more than just sweetness though.
