 I can't believe I took so long to watch this. I had no idea that this is based off of a manga series by Tamura Yumi.  Mystery to lunakare is a mystery series that has a slice of life feel to it. Don't go into the series thinking that there will be a lot of tension and suspense. The format is mostly episodic and its very bingeable. And the main character Totono is wonderful.

The pacing was consistent, the tension was on point, and honestly this is the kind of romance I love best. The characters and their interactions felt very organic. Loved the casting choices for everyone and as an aside, I loved the height difference between the two leads. The characters were all likeable and relatable, especially Nozue.I also really loved the OST.

The cinematography & visuals in the movie are beautiful and well shot. Every actor and actress did a phenomenal job in this. Kim Min Hee and Kim Tae Ri had excellent chemistry.

Overall I really enjoyed most of the screenplay. There are three main arcs in the movie: arc one is from Nam Sook Hee's point of view, arc two is from Lady Himeko's, and arc three is more or less the epilogue. I liked act one best personally. I was pleasantly surprised by Nam Sook Hee's and Lady Himeko's ending.

The movie is definitely for mature viewers only, with graphic content such as nudity, graphic violence, sexual content, BDSM, etc. Some of the imagery in the movie can be quite jarring and explicit.

This drama may not be the best produced, may not have the best CGI at times, but it more than makes up for that with worldbuilding, the characters (has one of my favorite antagonists), visuals, and much more. 

The choreography in this was beautiful, loved the soundtrack, the screenplay - especially the scriptwriting was well done (they were quite creative with getting around censorship laws), and the characters (at times, they did feel a little... flat? but they actually made me care what happened to the secondary couple by the end of this - didn't care all that much for them at the start. Also loved Scorpion King, wish we had more of him on screen).

This drama does have some pacing issues, especially towards the end of the series. Personally, it felt quite rushed the last few episodes, where a few more episodes could have helped with this.  I'm also a little unhappy with the fate of most characters by the end of the drama.
