Every Korean or Other Asian Drama I Watched in 2020
This is the place where I rate and review every drama that I saw in the year of 2020. It's basically my diary of feelings about (Korean) dramas. Most of the dramas I watch are K-dramas, but you might see a random Chinese, Japanese or Taiwanese drama here and there.
This is my second year of watching Asian dramas and it's also the year I became completely obsessed with them.

1. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
This is a favorite of so many of my friends (haha, thanks Loyde, Şerife, and especially Eileen for harassing me to watch this series). But they were honestly so right to do this since I loved it. This is literally one of the funniest k-dramas I´ve ever seen and don´t get me started on the bromance. If it wasn´t for the ending, it probably would have been a 10/10. SPOILER ALERT: I would have been okay with just a wedding between Min Min & Bong Bong, but a wedding and twin babies were honestly too much for me to handle. Also, this drama once again showed how much I love Ji Soo, and the bromance is to die for.
-
2. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE drama and simply thinking about it or mentioning its name will just make me sob hysterically (even a whole freaking year later I am still sobbing when thinking of this masterpiece). In my eyes, this is the PERFECT drama and so far nothing has killed me as much as this drama did. Lol, it is also kind of impossible for any other drama to evoke such emotions out of me since in every single episode I had like 20+ heart attacks, mental breakdowns, cry sessions, etcetera). Apparently, it gave me so many feelings that I was literally shouting NO at the top of my lungs for more than 10 minutes that my brother felt the need to check up on me. The moment he realized that I was hysterical because of a freaking Korean drama was the day he officially lost all the respect he had for me. I will be forever shouting at anybody and everybody that they need to watch this. IT IS SO GOOD! SUPERB! PERFECT! It is my everything and the day I decide to watch this drama again will probably be the end of me since I am not sure I can handle this masterpiece of feelings and perfectness again.

3. Love Alarm
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
Love Alarm is really cute and I´m dying for season two. It also gave me so many feelings and made me super emotional (like almost every other drama). I´m also one of the few rare [ep[;e who is all about the second lead (I do think the main girl and the first male lead are cute too, but I personally think they have had their shot and I just prefer the second lead). I do have to say that it was a bit shitty of our first lead to go after the girl his best friend had a crush on, but I like how that didn´t impact their friendship in this season. I JUST NEED S2 NOW, S1 HAD SUCH A CLIFFHANGER!
-
4. Triad Princess
Taiwanese Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
This was really funny and not only did I love our badass kickass female lead, I also loved the best friend of hers. Besides, that boy loving boy side story between the adoptive brother of the female lead and her best friend was really cute too. I have to say that the romance of the two main characters was cute, but it is not an all-time favorite couple or romance of mine. I think their relationship developed a bit too quickly for me to fully love it as I do with other couples of Asian dramas.
-
5. My Holo Love
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
I never thought I would say something like this but damn I really wanted that AI as my own boyfriend. Besides, this drama really destroyed me and was overall really good. I definitely think this K-drama is way too underrated! I really think more people should watch for so many reasons. Not only were all the characters really interesting and well-fleshed out, but don´t even get me started on the amazing twist and turns, and amazing side plots of this drama. I simply really recommend this one and I will never stop recommending it to people. IT DESERVES MORE LOVE!
-
6. When the Weather Is Fine
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
The aunt was sincerely my favorite character in this entire drama. I sincerely cried the most for her and she somehow stole my heart. The FL´s aunt is just a complete babe, okay (trust me on this). My heart literally ached so much for her and for our main leads. I really felt bad for both of my babies; they are so precious and they deserved the whole world. This drama was basically a trip to sad lane for me. Also, the subplots and the side characters (especially LJW´s character because this drama basically started my love for Lee Jae Wook) were such gems. Sadly, this drama is another case of I would have loved it more if it wasn´t for the final episode. The dislike for the final episode seems to be a mutual thing among the fans.
Also, thank you Eileen for making me watch this and recommending it to me. I truly appreciated it.

7. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Once again a stellar recommendation from my best bud Eileen (love you lots!). I will never ever get over the hilariousness and pure comedians these characters and side-characters were. Watching this drama definitely resulted in me wanting to watch all the dramas of Park Seo Joon & Park Min Young. Their chemistry was just surreal (I also loved the romance between their characters). I simply was hooked from the moment I started watching this and I for once completely agree and understand why this drama is so beloved and popular.
-
8. Her Private Life
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I don´t have a lot to say about this drama since I loved and inhaled every second of it. I am so baffled that my other drama loving friends had never heard of this. Thankfully Eileen, my bae, introduced me to this drama and I am once again eternally grateful for that SINCE IT WAS SO GOOD. One of the best representations of fangirls I have ever seen. Also, the best friend and fellow fangirl of Park Min Young´s character was such a mood! Somehow that actress has been popping up in so many of the dramas that I have seen & I am just all for her and her characters. The romance is cute, the plot is funny and fluffy, super sad backstories and past, the cutest idol, and a huge love for art and the fandom community. Besides, I truly wanted Cindy to become my real-life ¨rival¨. She was hilarious too.
-
9. Age of Youth
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
I basically watched this drama since two of my best friends really loved this and highly recommended it to me. And I have to say, I didn´t regret watching it since I really enjoyed it. I loved how the drama followed this group of flatmates and their journey of college and forming a tight friendship with one another. Their friendship was honestly the strongest and best aspect of this K-drama. Besides, I will forever be gay for Ji-Won who is just my babe and one of my favorite characters ever. But the actress who played Yi-Na was also so freakishly hot and pretty (I secretly, well not so secretly after all, shipped her with Ye-Eun). This drama is a lot darker and heavier than you initially might not have expected. I am also baffled how Netflix still has only the second season on their platform. They sincerely need to get their shit together and make the first season also available for streaming!
-
10. Touch Your Heart
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This Goblin AU was honestly just too good and really solidified my love for Lee Dong Wook. It is basically the show that started it all; it is the origin of my Lee Dong Wook obsession and love. It is definitely one of the best recommendations I have ever received, it was simply so cute and wholesome. Besides, Touch Your Heart almost made me regret giving up on my law studies. Haha, almost since it is still one of the best decisions of my life. The couple is simply just too freaking cute and all the co-workers are such precious and hilarious beans too. Only love and more love for this drama.
Also, I am eternally grateful to my real-life-friend Şerife for recommending this to me. It is basically all your fault that I am this obsessed with and thrash for Lee Dong Woon. It is all your fault. You started my insane amount of love for him
-
11. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Rip to me! I was emotionally distraught after finishing this series since my babies had to go through so many trials and tribulations. THANK GOD FOR THAT UNREALISTIC HAPPY ENDING THOUGH! Besides, I will never ever shut up about the most amazing bromance that this show had. Also, I loved both main couples (even though Dae-Young & Myung-Ju were ultimately the characters I skipped more, they truly deserved their happy ending). This also has great side characters and subplots, so prepare yourself for the heartbreaks. However, it was surprisingly quite funny at times too.
-
12. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I literally loved this one so much and it honestly might be my second or third favorite drama. I have to say that I had to get used to the age gap of the main couple, but when I did I was so on board. Just korean fantasy at its epic. And can I just day THE GRIM REAPER, HE IS MY BABY, MY EVERYTHING, I honestly love him so much. This drama is basically the reason why I'm super obsessed with lee dong wook now. NO REGRERS THOU. I will also never shut up about this amazing bromamce & that this drama shows what true siblings are like.
-
13. A Piece of Your Mind
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
-
14. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Yelp, I am still not okay after having finished this drama since it was that god. Not only do I hold this story and its three main characters super close to my heart, and the mental illness representation was just so well done too. I honestly cried so many times while watching this with my friend Eileen. Also, I was just so gay for and in love with Moon-Young. The three main actors just did an amazing job, just like everyone else who worked in this drama. The costumes, the aesthetics, animation, story, cinematography, and the soundtrack of this drama were surreal too. I sadly did guess the biggest twist of this show, but that didn´t even hinder my enjoyment and love for this show at all. Also, let nobody know that I secretly have Mang-Tang now (HAHAHA MANG-TANG IS MINE NOW! Since that certain friend gave it to me for Christmas).
-
15. The Legend of the Blue Sea
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
-
16. Good Casting
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
-
17. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
-
18. Vagabond
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This is typically not something that I would watch but since I was in the mood for something different I thought I would give this a go & man it didn´t disappoint me. It was such an action-packed wild ride with many twists and turns and so much unfairness. I really liked our main characters (the male lead is basically a puppy and a Jackie Chan/James Bond). Also, don´t get me started on how many epic, badass, and kickass women there were in this show (I think Lily is a severely underrated character). But damn the ending was such a cliffhanger, such a plot twist. I sincerely hope there will be a second season, please let there be a second season. I NEED A SEASON TWO AFTER THAT ENDING!
It is funny though that it took me a while to realize that both the FL in this and the FL in while you were sleeping were the same actress.
-
19. Eulachacha Waikiki
Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes
This was honestly really funny and I loved how it focused on a cast of housemates in their late twenties and how much they weren't ready for the real world too (honestly same). I laughed so many times, and so much weird shit happens that almost makes you pee your paints. Besides, my heart totally ached for Dong gu (such a babe) and I've realized that Doo-sik is my soulmate.
-
20. Extraordinary You
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
AGGSJISEYEFAGJHSKJJDUTDFGHSIJSIUYEFGGSHJSSGYSGSHDU!!! SO MANY FEELINGS, SO MANY TEARS, and so much laughter. This is honestly one of the weirdest, funniest, beautiful, heartbreaking series I´ve ever seen. Literally, everybody is my baby and I would have done anything to protect them. It was simply so good. The love story of Ha-Ru and Eun Dan-Oh is one of the most beautiful things I ever had to privilege of witnessing.
Besides, Rowoon is one beautiful, stunning dude (guess I am stanning another actor).
-
21. Psychopath Diary
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This is honestly one of the most unique, weird, fun, and hilarious dramas I've ever watched. I honestly think this drama is super underrated and definitely deserves more love. I also loved how our three protagonists and their lives were connected. I do have to say the middle sagged a bit but like the last four episodes or so completely made up for that in its crazyness. And it has no explicit romantic relationships (haha besides the initial crush real psychopath had on someone he thought was a psycho too). Go watch this!
-
22. Page Turner
Korean Special - 2016, 3 episodes
I thought that the acting at times was a bit cringey and that it overall needed more episodes. I do have to say that it managed to deliver some gut wrenching punches in such a short time. I loved the focus it had on music and Ji soo's character was honestly such a sweet pea. I did think our female lead was a bit of a bitch at times. I also don't like how Ji soo, my baby, was again the second lead by the end. Lastly, the ending wasn't resolved as much as I would have liked. Still fun, but not the best drama out there.
-
23. Doctors
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
-
24. I'm Not a Robot
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
Soo good and I loved how the stereotypical roles of male and female were reversed. I also cried a lot while watching this. Somehow I'm also so confused that the female lead in this was the same female lead from a piece of your mind, but somehow I keep thinking they are separate people, lol. Honestly, a new fave and many new actors/actrices whose other work I will check out too.
-
25. Suspicious Partner
Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes
-
26. Mr. Heart
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
This drama is so sweet, pure, warm hearted. It honestly feels like you're receiving a warm embrace from a loved one. This short drama also managed to make me cry twice, which is honestly really impressive. Both characters were such sweeties, and this honestly made my queer little heart too happy. I simply want more and I love how they didn't turn it into a big thing that two boys love each other. I'm definitely watching the movie version too. 100% worth watching.
-
27. Where Your Eyes Linger
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
I think the editing was a bit weird and off at times. I also thought this story was going to be a lot more lighthearted than it actually was. I personally prefer my queer romances to be really happy because I've seen way too many sad ones already. I also think the relationship could have been developed a bit better. Also, why was that mother always fetishizing gay relationships? I truly didn't like that. I personally think mr. heart is superior to this one & I hope that the movie version is edited better.
-
28. Kiss Goblin
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
This was really cute and quite hilarious too. I laughed so hard when they outwitted the exorcist and kept annoying him. I was also so in love the goblin queen, not only is she super stunning but my heart ached for her. Besides, the two leads had amazing chemistry. My only complaint is that the fight scenes were a bit awkwared and cringe worthy but the rest was really good. I think this is one of my favorite webdramas so far. I highly recommend it.
-
29. Record of Youth
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
This drama made me realise I truly jumped on the park bo geom train too late. His smile in encounter KILLED ME It gave me all the feelings since in like every drama his smile is serotonin boost but there it was just a trip down feelings lane. LOL ML OLDER BROTHER GOT SCAMMED &He was like I'm so smart unlike my GRANDFATHER WHO GOT SCAMMED & my useless younger brother BUT NOW HE GOT SCAMMED TOO. I'm enjoying this too much. Normally I like/love SML or my heart aches for him but this guy I'm like why? U have nothing in common /don't even know each other & A SHITTY THING TO DO TO YOUR BFF. u know that he really likes her & they're dating BUT HE'S LIKE IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO BUTT IN & I'm like IT IS! I'm obsessed with the ost. How is it possible for me to care the most about the side characters than the main characters. I love ML & FL but grandpa/mum are the real mvps. I love ML disastrous manager the most She's chaotic/weird & barely functioning as an adult. LOVE HER. The best friend of first & 2nd lead is such a puppy but the main couple is really good. So cute they are & they love arguing/bantering IT'S SIMPLY CUTE. Bby got a good role and like both the grandfather & mum are crying because they are so proud/happy for him. The ML brother is such a loser but I like him. Mum of SML has no life & is too funny. ML mum works as a housekeeper at SML & the banter of the two mums is hilarious they're such frenemies. Plot isn't great but the couple is cute & you root for the main/side characters. LOL THAT MANAGER IS LITERALLY AT A SAUNA FULL OF FEMALES AFTER BBYS DRAMA AIRED & SHE'S GUSHING ABOUT HIM. I'M SO PROUD OF BABY HE GOT FAMOUS SO FAST he's going places. I had more feelings but it's a show that frustrated me from beginning until end. I don't know if I liked our FL but I'm still mad that jin-u & hae-na weren't endgame
-
30. Noble, My Love
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
This was pretty cute, but also pretty problematic at times. I personally really liked our female lead and that she didn't really give into the demands of the dominating love interest. I liked that she put up a fight and gave him shit too. I do have to say that the acting wasn't always A+ quality, it could have been better at times. Besides, that secretary was one big mood. I also loved how female lead was a veterinarian, all the animal cameos, and her cat was the best. Also, lol the kidnapping almost death experience is never really explained, which I find too funny. Overall really fun, but it's definitely a flawed mini drama.
-
31. Encounter
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
This was frustratingly cute. Also, Park Bo geom's smile in this drama is the most beautiful thing on earth. I literally can't count how many times I cried because of his damn smile. This drama turned me into a Park Bo Geom stan. Also, his character was just so pure and sweet just afbhhfd. I really liked the romance & all the side characters are such gems too. And don't even get me started on this drama's cinematography.
-
32. 4 Reasons Why I Hate Christmas
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
I love a good pessimist × optimist couple and the bubbly girl was just so cute. I personally also really loved how it didn't have an unrealistic ending and how both couples didn't magically end up together. Also, the main pessimistic lead was just a mood (& he cute too). Haha, I could however use more Christmasness in this drama. As someone who loves Christmas, there is never a thing as too much Christmas. I can't wait to discover more Christmas based k-dramas. Also, I'm so sad that this wasn't longer because I really loved this and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is definitely one of my favorite web dramas so far.
-
33. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Lee Dong Wook has done it again, that bitch. I basically cried for 2,5 hours because of the last episodes. If I thought the last episode of Goblin was emotionally destroying I should have been prepared for this ending CAUSE IT WAS TWENTY TIMES WORSE. It's a miracle that me and my heart are still alive. Also, Lee Rang was the ultimate babe & Yu Ri is the most gorgeous person ever. I loooooved everyone sooo fucking much. It's definitely one of my new favourite dramas. If you make me very every fucking episode you truly deserve that status. Rest in peace my feelings.
One little review was simply not enough, so here's another one. At this point I'll be just a crying mess for everything Lee Dong wook does. No words can do this show justice. I simply had all the feels, I loved it with every fiber in my being, and I cried basically every episode. It's definitely on my list of all time favorite k-dramas and now I'm basically having an identity crisis if I like lee yeon more or my baby reaper? WHO IS THE BETTER LEE DONG WOOK? I honestly don't know. Just love and more love for everything my bae does. Also, I'm still not over the ending (my baby lee rang) and honestly can't we all just agree that yu-ri is one of the prettiest women on this earth, cause damn she drop dead gorgeous.
-
34. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
VERY SPOILER FILLED THOUGHTS: it would have been a 10/10 if the writers didn't kill our baby off and were suddenly like SHIT WHAT THE FUCK DID WE DO #INSTANT REGRET. So if they just deleted the whole dying but oh wait guess not plot it truly would have been an amazing show. They could have just had him make a full recovery or really die. This is the only instance where both isn't good. Also, the reason why was stupid as fuck, but Lee Jae Wook my man is a great fucking actor. I cried a lot while watching this, but I also laughed a lot. I'm still not over that fake wedding. That was so freaking clever and had me rolling on the floor with laughter. All the side characters and couples were too cute too but my heart ached the most for the main couple. It was a beautiful love story. And I was invested in everybody with the exception of Ra-Ra's almost husband. I ALMOST FORGOT MIMI PLAYING THE PIANO WILL BE FOREVER INGRAINED IN MY BRAIN TOO. STANNING MIMI NOW. Also, lol this is basically the kdrama that has all the tropes and cliches you can think of. I personally thought they did it in a hilarious way but I totally get that this drama isn't for everyone. ALSO THAT EUN DAN OH PATIENT IN THE HOSPITAL! WRITERS/DIRECTORS I SAW WHAT YOU GUYS DID THERE. I literally screamed at my television when I saw that. I'm forever still a #1 hoe for Lee Dong Wook but Lee Jae Wook is probably on #3 (since Lee Jong Suk is #2). Apparently I have a thing for Lee's lol.
-
35. Meow, the Secret Boy
Korean Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
This show honestly wins for most cringe worthy title ever and weird story, but honestly it just 100% worked for me. I was so invested in everything and everybody, and it made me feel things I wasn't expecting to feel. I honestly don't think that this drama deserves the hate or dislike it's currently getting. Yes, it is a weird story but honestly so freaking cute. This was just really really cute. I loved our main characters and side characters, I basically just wanted to be in this drama. Besides, the ending was soo bittersweet. Also the first time I said I'M SHIPPING BEASTIALITY, lol. I guess there's a first for everything. I don't think this drama was bad at all and I'm really glad that I watched it since I loved it this much. Also, fun story both my mum and neighbor thought that a cat was stalking our houses while it was in fact just me watching this drama on a loud volume apparently.
-
36. 100 Days My Prince
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
DO can act like daaaaamn. The couple simply was the cutest and I honestly can't handle all the side characters since they were such babes too. I honestly wanted a happy ending for everyone but this one was more realistic. I'm still sad that Yul's childhood friends died, that really killed me. Also that our facial blidness babe didn't end up with the kiseang. They had such chemistry. Also this show was honestly too fucking funny. Too many times I laughed so hard that I couldn't breath. I do have to say that the beginning of the show was a bit slow and it took me a while to get into it, but when I did I was just on the rollercoaster ride that was this show. And honestly Yul's love for I-Seo is the most pure thing ever.
-
37. Wish You: Your Melody From My Heart
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
This was so darn cute and I've realised that I'm absolutely an emotional wreck over queer web dramas since I again cried while watching this. The romance was so good and don't even get me started on the songs. The ost is one of my favourites so far (it's also one of my favourite web dramas). I'm so happy that this is coming to Netflix and that more people will be exposed to its amazingness. I also loved how the show didn't make it a big deal that two guys liked each other. It also has such a happy and hopeful ending and the two characters didn't go through such a shitty time. I'm honestly living for all these boy loving boy dramas. I do wish it was longer and had more episodes since the story deserves so much more time to be developed. Both characters were cute little weirdos whom I fell in love with. Overall just really good with great acting. Besides, I'm more shook that the actor who plays kang in soo is 32 than the fact that both the actor and the character are called kang in soo.
-
38. Splash Splash LOVE
Korean Special - 2015, 2 episodes
This mini drama was overall really entertaining and a nice & easy watch. However, I do have to say that the editing was one of the worst editing I've ever seen in my life. I also felt like that both the characters and the story needed a bit more development (thus more episodes) to feel fully fleshed out. But using gangnam style (especially oppa gangnam style) to learn how to ride a horse is honestly one of the best scenes/moments I've seen in a show or movie. It's truly iconic. Sadly the drama had a lot of potential but it never fully fulfilled that potential. It could have been so great if it had gotten more episodes/screen time.
-
39. Go Ho's Starry Night
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
Fun /cute but problematic/old fashioned as hell too. So many things in this drama felt unnecessary & quite sexist/misogynistic. Nobody did/said anything to that employee that was harassing single females in the company while everybody knew he what he was doing & how uncomfortable it made them. Seriously wtf. But also how the young dude kept going on & on with his flirtations while the female lead crearly stated MULTIPLE TIMES that she wasn't interested & that he simply should fuck off. Did that boy listen? No... don't even ask me why cause there's no real reason for it. Also, at this point 5 love interests for one woman is just too ridiculous. I thought that love triangles were already unrealistic as fuck but this drama truly takes it to an absurd kind of level. The ex-boyfriend would have been the least problematic if he for once had an actual reason for breaking up with the female lead (being in financial trouble was just a poor excuse or as I would say it LOADS OF BULLSHIT) or that he didn't even tell her why he was breaking up with her. Girl literally begged him to tell her why on numerous occasions but he simply ignored her & never told her why because that was what was best gor her? Dafuq! Both are just shitty as hell. Her previous team leader did treat her well when he expressed his feelings for her (& even before that), he mostly was an ass when he was her actual team leader. I do think they had the most chemistry and that they were the most compatible. I did like how she ended up with him. I liked the female friendship between our FL & a coworker. I do have to say that the premise of this show is quite misleading since it's only a minor plot. So yeah it was a fun drama that I liked watching butthere were many problems I had with this show, which resulted in me not fully enjoying it. For those reasons I can't give this show a higher rating.
-
40. Mute
Korean Drama - 2020, 4 episodes
Very cute and so easy to watch. The actors had great chemistry and both of them could really act. Besides, the FL is just drop dead gorgeous and her outfits in this mini drama were just to die for. I'm also so shook about how the characters' names are also the names of the screenwriters. Is this supposed to be a hint? I do think it should have been longer to feel fully fleshed out, but it was overall cute and a fun, easy, unproblematic mini drama to watch. Lastly, I do think they could have focused a bit more on the fantasy elements or have it explained a bit better. I still would recommend that you watch this though.
-
41. XX
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
This was a lot darker than I expected it to be but omg this was so much fun to watch. It's not only really entertaining but also such a girl power show. I also love how the plot of this show was all about these 2 badass women who used to be friends run a bar. That's such a male dominated world so I loved how they put a female twist on it. Besides, Danny our boy was the sweetest love interest anyone could wish for. And don't even get me started on our queer icon Jayden. Not only is he hilarious, he's also such an icon and amazing best friend. The ending of this show was also so satisfying and finally a web drama that didn't feel like it needed more episodes, everything was just that well developed and flushed out. This drama honestly needs more hype, since it's that GOOD. Y'all need to watch this & it's even available for free on YouTube. I'm honestly so shook about how much I loved this drama.
-
42. Yuri Dano Kan Dano
Japanese Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
This show officially wins the title of most fucked up and disgusting television show I've seen in 2020. I'm completely disgusted by this drama. Kairi is fucking disgusting and such a pervert (& like manipulative to the core). She literally kept a pair of undergarments from when Yuri was a child and she calls it her treasure. Besides, when she met Yuri after years of not seeing or speaking her, she literally stuck her head between her boobs. It's also implied that Kairi likes women because of being abused by men as a child during her idol years. Besides, Kairi truly has never heard of consent or personal space. I'm honestly baffled by this show and the topics it choose to focus on (yes shaving or not shaving your pubic hairs was a major plotline in this drama). I truly hate how this show discussed sexuality (it truly made it sound like you have to be crazy/mentally unstable if you're not straight which is bullshit). Basically every character is unlikable and so many things happen in this drama that are just too disgusting. The "relationship" also makes zero sense One of the most problematic dramas I've ever seen. I watched this drama so that you don't have to watch this because it's that bad. Please don't watch this, save yourself. I wish I could erase this shit show from my mind. It's that repulsive. We deserve better f/f relationships than this ...

43. The Hymn of Death
Korean Drama - 2018, 6 episodes
I thought it was fitting to watch this drama on the day Lee Song Juk (one of my favourite Korean actors) was released from his military duty. Besides, I also wanted to see this before I went into 2021 so it was just destiny to watch it today. But oh my god, I have to say that this one of the saddest things I've ever seen in kitty life. I honestly cried like a baby and I immensely felt for these characters, my heart ached for them. Honestly, Lee Song Juk has done it again because somehow all of his dramas make me so emotional and invested that they just have to become a favorite. I know that this beautiful, haunting, sad tale will sit with me for a very long time.
