My 2024 Dramas
-
1. Moving
Korean Drama - 2023, 20 episodes
- Great CGI
- Unique when it comes to the superhero plot
- Superpowers become a family issue
- Fun to watch
- First half was pretty slow paced and felt like there was no plot
- Generally not that action packed or fast paced as it is advertised
- Second half with the adults was better - especially the last 5 episodes -
- Good acting
- I am looking forward to see more of some of the younger actors that are starring here
- Everything got connected in the second half of the series
- Very entertaining
- Quite bloody - One of the few times that we got to see the result of being hit from a person with superhuman abilities
- Some pretty nice emotional scenes
-
2. Let’s Talk about Chu
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Binge-worthy series
- Great acting
- High entertainment value that doesn't fail to offer some emotional moments
- No awkwardness detected between the characters, despite the many sex scenes
- It was more on the realistic side of relationships (no perfect character that wants to hold your hand here)
- Pretty educational - has interesting facts when it comes to sex
- Every couple and every individual character was interesting and fun to watch
- Everyone had decent scree time
- Barely any nude scenes, despite the main sex scenes
- Everything felt ideal when it came to balance
- People in different stages of life - for once the younger people were not the only focu
- Deals with many issues without being over the top or too dramatic
- A very well-made series that unfortunately doesn't get the attention it deserves
-
3. A Bloody Lucky Day
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
- Very bad first episode in all aspects
- It gets very good from episode 2 onwards
- Good acting
- Not perfectly written, but pretty good nonetheless
- Daring as hell
- Very disturbing and bloody
- Many plot twists
- Extremely addictive
- Felt like 10 episodes were too many at first, but I was proven wrong
- Trust TVING to bring you some bloody and disturbing series that dramaland is not ready for yet
- No censorship!
- Good enough ending, but it could be better
-
4. Love for Love's Sake
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Good production quality
- Unique and interesting story
- Great acting, especially from Lee Tae Vin
- Interesting characters and pretty well developed taking into consideration the duration
- Well written plot
- Great romance
- Myung Ha's character is very well written
- It gets you in the feels
-
5. A Killer Paradox
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Great cinematography/directing
- Amazing editing + transitions
- Son Suk Ku is great and hot as hell
- Great performance by Choi Woo Shik
- Great instrumental music
- Interesting concept
- First half is pretty interesting
- Has surrealistic vibes
- Great dark humour
- Quite a few interesting characters
- Not really suspenseful
- Slow motions were overused
- I felt no attachment to any of the characters
- Enjoyed the stories of the supporting/guest roles more than the mains
- Second half was not as good
- Pacing problems - Felt too slow at times for no reason
- I disliked Lee He Joon's performance for the most part - Due to his overacting, I couldn't take him seriously at times
- Lacked soul
-
6. Ready, Set, Love
Thai Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
- Highly entertaining
- Binge-worthy
- Ooverly ridiculous in the best way possible
- Unique concept
- Great romance
- Plot is fun to watch
- It gets serious at times and it deals with lots of subjects in a way that doesn't feel depressing
- Leaves you with a smile on your face
- Pretty funny with some over the top comedic elements that were -mostly- great
- Eye candy!
- Acting could get too over the top at times especially in the first two episodes - I had to get used to the vibe
-
7. The Sign
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
- Great first half
- It gets pretty boring after the firs half and especially after ep. 8 in terms of everything (uncut version didn't help)
- Very unique concept
- Generally a pretty well done project
- Th acting is good enough most of the times (and can get very bad at times)
- Love the romance -until it gets boring-.
- Great dynamics between characters
- Can help you find out more about thai culture
- There is actually a plot for once that doesn't revolve only around the main love story!
- EYE CANDY!
- Yai, I <3 you
- Way too long ter a while both in terms of the main relationship and in terms of the plot
- CGI is not that bad, but not good either
- Feels like they run out of budget to support their idea
- Due to lack of badget some things just looked ridiculous and cheap
- The clothing in the mythical scenes is laughable
- The whole ML as a woman was a big no...
-
8. Elite League
Korean TV Show - 2023, 8 episodes
- Great idea!
- Amazing excecution
- Very entertaining
- Interesting players
- Very well thought out games
- Fast paced
- I like that for once I feel like I am participating
-
9. Captivating the King
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
- First four episodes are very good (with pick being the fourth)
- Jo Jung Suk's performance was amazing
- Many of the actors did a pretty good jobs, especially the veterans
- The child actor that starred as Dae Gun should give some acting lessons to some people...
- Politics based
- Good directing
- Non-puppet king for once!
- Darker plot
- Great production quality
- Script was mediocre -to be kind-
- Music was nothing memorable - Unecessary in some scenes
- Each episode could easily be 15-20 minutes shorter
- Jang Young Nam tended to overact as Queen Park
- Cobweb-like beards
- Absence of tension
- Romance aspect made me feel nothing most of the times
- Many clichés
- Very underwhelming, especially towards the end
- Ending was just bad
- Shin Sae Kyeong was very bad (couldn't act as a man despite her disguise, had 2 expressions the whole show and had teary eyes no matter the situation)
- Crew made 0 effort to make the FL look like a man
- FL's character is dumb - everything goes her way, because the script says so, she has 0 plans-
- Writer involves the FL in situations out of nowhere just to include her in the plot
- Drama could work without a FL
- It would work better as a revenge based male VS male lead drama that focuses on politics
-
10. The Impossible Heir
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- So bad in all aspects
- Just for hate-watching
- Some of the actors are watchable
- Kang Hee Joo is the only character that is worth it + Actress is great
- Very very badly written
- Unlikable characters that tend to change personalities
- Unreasonable time-skips
- Extremely one-dimensional characters
- Characters tend to appear and disappear when it is convenient for the script
- Looks like scriptwriter wanted the audience to root for the FL and ML, but they are honestly just awful in every aspect
- Felt super draggy at times and at the same time it needed so much more time to develop everything.
- Romance is cringy, unnecessary and makes no sense
- FL is unnecessary and badly written
- Many and I mean many clichés
- Hong Su Zu's acting as Na Hye Won is terrible and seems to make no effort
- Ending was awful like the rest of the series
-
11. Jazz for Two
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Not perfect, but extremely entertaining
- Acting could be better, but was good enough
- Some things were honestly unforgivable and characters literally seemed like they forgot about them lol
- Some things were too sudden
- Love my toxic relationships
- Needed more of the second couple
- Do Yoon! Dude looked majestic -plus his stylist must get a raise right now- and I loved his character
-
12. A Breeze of Love
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
- Decent short drama
- Decent acting
- I love some enemies to lovers
- Those basketball shoes looked great
-
13. Wonderful World
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
- Pretty good series
- Could be a few eps less - it got draggy at points
- Main character basically gets ruined again and again even though they did nothing wrong
- First episode is one of the most tragic eps on tv
- Kim Nam Joo deserves an award just for her performance in ep. 1
- Some things were obvious from the get go, but were revealed sooo much later
- Quite slow paced
- The two mains truly helping each other took way too long
- Some things were a bit sudden towards the end
- Very memorable and strong FL
- Generally pretty good acting
- CEW was a blessing for the eyes
- CEW's acting still needs lots of work, buthis character didn't have that much scree time and was also very cold, so it suited him + He was pretty good in the last 2-3eps
- Loved the portrayal of grief
- Unfortunately, constant efforts to make this super sad ending up feeling bland
-
14. Unknown
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- Great series
- I trust Taiwan when it comes to adaptations from novels with same-sex relationships
- Wasn't that interested after the first two eps, but it got way better
- Loved all the characters with all their flaws
- Generally very good actubf
- Kurt Huang (Yuan) was the one that stood out the most to me
- I loved how Yuan expressed himself and Qian was the exact opposite
- They are super cute
- Love some complicated, angsty and forbidden relationships
- It deals with some heavy subjects and depressing stuff, but stays balanced
- Loved the rare but great comedic elements
- They butchered the NC scene in the editing, but then fixed it and it was <3
- Music was overused and was too loud at times in the last few eps
-
15. Saka no Ue no Akai Yane
Japanese Drama - 2024, 5 episodes
- Pretty disappointing especially for a WOWOW drama
- Acting is mediocre (plus some pretty bad overacting)
- Concept is good but badly executed
- Not great production quality -as expected-
- Pacing was baaaad - Very boring
- Could easily be a movie or 2 one-hour eps
- Slow pace didn't help with the atmosphere nor the suspense
- Couldn’t care enough for the characters
- Kiritani Kenta is sooo damn attractive - He was more interesting than anything else
-
16. Desire Catcher
Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes
- Pretty decent series
- Could be a few eps less
- Plot was interesting but also felt very unrealistic at points -that was a given since it had to do with hypnosis-
- The bromance was gold!
- Zhang Ye Cheng is a great actor
- Xin Yun Lai needs work, but his character was pretty expressionless so didn't mind him at all
- I love how the ML is not your typical hero
- Ending felt a bit overdramatic
-
17. Tender Light
Chinese Drama - 2024, 28 episodes
- An underrated gem that is refreshingly different
- Tong Yao as Nan Ya and Wang Zi Xuan as Qing Li were not as great as they should have been
- Last half an hour ruined it...
- Some plot points, character choices in the last few eps were very sudden and out of place
- Wasn't boring despite its 28 eps and filler scenes
- Not binge-worthy
- Zhang Xin Cheng was amazing! That man transforms when he is acting
- Has many complex, realistic, flawed and raw characters
- Directing and cinematography are phenomenal!
- Atmosphere captures greatly the 1999s and 2000s
- Generally pretty well written plot
- Slow paced
- Character driven
- I love the village/small town setting
- Deals with many complex and sensitive subjects like stigma and domestic violence
- Romance is very dark and starts of as obsession
- Instrumental music is amazing!
- Some scenes have strong Wong Kar-wai vibes.
- Pretty daring plot wise and characters' wise
- Director manages to elevate the plot, the character's and the acting of some not great performances
- Not for everyone
- Focuses on visual storytelling
-
18. Regeneration
Chinese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
- Completely ruined in the last 20 minutes
- Production quality is pretty good
- Generally well written
- Unique concept
- Agatha Christie vibes
- It felt pretty emotionless generally besides a few parts
- Some interesting side plots were more interesting that the main ones
- Editing was a bit sloppy here and there
- They should have followed the book more closely
- Last few eps are not as good as the first ones, but still decent
-
19. The Legend of Shen Li
Chinese Drama - 2024, 39 episodes
- Bad production quality
- Bad CGI
- Pretty good acting
- Slow paced
- Character driven
- Romance was great
- Could be a few eps less, but generally wasn't boring
- Love how there were no love rivals that actually mattered
- Great songs
- The intro OST made me want to wear the warrior armor I don't have
- Pretty entertaining
- Ended up loving Fu Rong
-
20. Boys Be Brave!
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Decent acting
- Entertaining enough
- Liked the second couple more
- Nam Shi An is super handsome + love his clothing
- Really liked Yeo Joon's (aka Balg Eun's) acting.
-
21. Hierarchy
Korean Drama - 2024, 7 episodes
- I get the hate, but I was super entertained
- Objectively not a quality drama
- Great production quality
- Interesting concept
- Acting is watchable, but not oscar worthy
- Plot lacks in quite a few aspects
- Some of the characters tend to change personalities
- Some plot points make less sense than my math class
- "Upgraded" level of "westernization"
- More focused on romance and less on revenge
- Used 0 braincells, watched pretty people doing questionable things and had fun
- Kudos for dealing with a pretty sensitive subject
- The amount of handsomeness is insane
- Music slaps
- I feel like it gets more hate than it deserves
- I didn't hate the FL's acting as much as everyone - It was stated from the get go she was very emotionless because of the way she was raised
-
22. BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen
Japanese Special - 2023, 3 episodes
- Cute
- Extraaaa
- Funny
- Liked the mains
- I liked how it got a bit more serious, but also didn't lose its craziness
- I NEED MORE OF THE MANAGERS!
- Concept itself was hilarious
- Very well done in just 3 eps
-
23. Only Boo!
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- Tried to be MSP and it didn't completely fail
- Ridiculous and over the top at times
- Loved Keen's acting for the most part
- Not that convinced with Sea's acting as Kang
- First episode was a bit underwhelming
- Loved the ''idol'' concept
- LOVED THE SECOND COUPLE
- Last few eps were ridiculous and not that great
- Generally an easy and fun watch
-
24. The Double
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
- Entertaining from beginning to end
- Extra and over the top but in (mostly) the right way
- Supporting characters were great + I liked how we got to know new people every few eps
- New things were happening all the time => biggest pro!
- Xiao Heng was super hot - dude is sculpted by gods
- Villains were great
- Finally a strong FL that was not acting like a child and waiting to be saved all the time
- Make-up was super bad -> everyone looked like ghosts (whoever did the make up of the FL made her look extremely ugly at times)
- Wu Jin Yan's acting as Jiang Li was great when she was scheming and being smart, BUT in the emotional/romantic scenes it felt like she was also scheming, like she was pretending
- Really liked ML's acting in the emotional department. Dude looked truly in love.
- Some characters were completely ruined by the end by lazy writing
- Many supporting characters disappeared...
- Final episodes were extremely sloppy and badly written (especially the last two).
- OST was unmemorable
- Directing was mediocre. Too many -ridiculous- close ups
- Needed more of some of the supporting characters + wanted more of their stories
-
25. The Double Special
Chinese Special - 2024, 1 episode
- Let's just pretend this never happened
-
26. Pyramid Game
Korean Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
- We need more girls' high school settings
- WE NEED MORE FEMALE VILLAINS - Baek Ha Rin the evil b!tch you are *claps
- Acting was pretty good from the majority of the cast
- GL vibes (and not only vibes...)
- Had a manhwa/manga feeling where everyone is trying to outsmart one another
- Intro OST slaps
- Everyone is sooo pretty
- This was Jang Da A's debut as an actress and she did a very good job. Proof that a debut performance is not necessarily bad
- Love the sismance
- Liked the majority of the characters (expect Ja Eun that was the type of too kind person that was just super weak)
- Love how most of the characters were flawed ah
- Loved the FL and how she was a pretty grey and calculative character
- Pretty entertaining in general
- This is another bullying drama, but with an interesting concept
- Wasn't really into the first 3 eps - They felt a bit dumb
- Some of the eps were pretty long
- Final episode was not bad, but was also a bit underwhelming comparing to the previous ones
- Has some overacting here and there that I personally disliked (especially from the adults cast)
-
27. My Stand-In: Uncut
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- Good acting
- Visuals
- Unique plot
- Great duration
- Entertaining ah
- RED FLAG -> MING
- Angst
- Over the top at times but in a way I enjoyed
- Had it's funny moments
- iQiyi's hilarious adds during the series
- Great directing! The fantasy element was depicted immaculately
- Watched it with a passion
- Had many tropes I LOVE (jealousy, angst, toxicity at its fullest, misunderstandings)
- THIS IS A FREAKING DANMEI ADAPTATION - That explains why it was so good
- This was so extra, I laughed and screamed constantly
- Clothing was ❤️❤️❤️
- One of the few times the main couple is so interesting
- That one CGI scene was not the greatest
- Last episode could be combined with ep. 11 and if most of its scenes where cut I wouldn't mind
-
28. We Are
Thai Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
- Felt like a slice-of-life bl
- Basically nothing was happening, but it was great to watch and 100% to my liking.
- Good acting for the most part.
- Impressed with Pond and Phuwin. It was the first time I liked their acting and had fun watching them and I actually saw the chemistry.
- There was barely any angst/misunderstandings.
- Their friend group was the highlight of the series.
- Good humour.
- Tan and Fang were easily the best pairing imo. Their chemistry, dynamics and story were perfect.
- Q/Toey were interesting in the beginning, but after a few eps and especially after the first half they were super boring (and cringy)
- Series could easily be the standard 12 eps, but I wasn't that bored.
- Chain/Pun were completely unnecessary. They had almost 0 screentime and as a result their paring seemed forced. Plus they had 0 chemistry and were mostly cringy.
-
29. The Tyrant
Korean Drama - 2024, 4 episodes
- Production quality was great for the most part
- Good acting
- Kim Seon Ho's performance in the last episode was A M A Z I N G
- Dark atmosphere
- Action scenes were very good
- Violence/Gore
- Lim Sang as a comedic relief worked
- Ja Kyung was the highlight of the series - I love ruthless women in action series!
- Good concept
- Pretty entertaining last two eps
- Plot was all over the place and first two eps were incomprehensible
- Felt like a first "set-up" episode was missing
- I don't get why they made this a series - It could be a movie and felt like one
- Kim Kang Woo as Paul was overacting
- The typical ''we have to add some English cringy dialogues and words for no reason"
- CGI/Special Effects were great, besides that monster one that was unnecessary and ruined the atmosphere the drama was trying to achieve
- Entertaining enough
- Not close to the greatness of The Witch: The Subversion
-
30. Meet You at the Blossom
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- First two eps were entertaining
- Production quality was bad, but not as bad as I expected
- Acting was generally not good, especially from Li Le - Huai En-
- Wang Yun Kai -Xiao Bao- did a pretty decent job acting wise
- Dubbing/Sound mixing was terrible
- Zero chemistry when it came to the main couple, or maybe one-sided chemistry from Xiao Bao’s side
- Mains relationship was unrealistically and ridiculously sudden
- Other couples were funnier to watch, but still nothing amazing chemistry-wise
- Most of the characters are flawed, but not in a way that makes them interesting
- The characters felt "unnatural"
- Zero emotional connection on my part for any of them
- It felt like a typical bl, where they try to have an actual plot besides the romance and they can't really write one, so the plot feels like a badly written ''background'' to the boring romantic storyline
- Huai En could never pass as a woman and especially a pretty one, taking into consideration the beauty standards
- I love toxicity, but it was handled super bad in this one and the toxic elements (r@pe etc) felt ridiculous and laughable and that tells you a lot about the quality of the drama
- Two first eps aside, this has 0 entertainment value
- Felt more like a Thai-parody of a danmei-adaptation than a serious try to make something good
- Unsuccessful effort, but hopefully it is the reason there will be more in the future, so it is appreciated
-
31. Snowfall
Chinese Drama - 2024, 24 episodes
- Generally pretty entertaining and unique -but I did get a bit bored towards the end-
- It is extra as hell, but in a good way -most of the times-
- Pretty funny
- Has some great scenes
- Honestly I was more interested on the supporting -or ''fake'' supporting- characters comparing to the mains
- Acting was not great, but I didn't really mind, since the whole series was over the top
- Nice OST
- Loved my petty villain Ying Liang! He was very fun to watch and super handsome ❤️❤️❤️
- BROMANCE at its finest! If someone told me it is a censored adaptation of a same sex novel -or at least a novel with some gay characters- I would believe them...
- Mi Lan got a bit annoying at some point and acted like a child to a point I could not take her relationship with the ML as something more than a father/daughter relationship or a one-sided crush
- SITU WEI LIAN! My man was great and apparently the actor is also an idol. He did great.
- Censorship - It is obvious from many things that this show is butchered.
- Ending wasn't as bad as I expected
-
32. Century of Love
Thai Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
- Entertaining
- EXTRA
- Hilarious
- Loved the main couple
- Great chemistry
- Could get too ridiculous at times
- Villains were a joke
- Interesting concept
- Kisses!
- Visuals
- Could be like 1-2 eps less
- Nice intro song
- Chu was the best character!
-
33. No Way Out: The Roulette
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Production quality was great
- Acting was generally good
- Yoo Jae Myung as the evil Kim Guk Ho, Sung Yoo Bin as Kim Guk Ho’s son and Kim Sung Cheol as well as the actor that portrayed him as a child were the highlight!
- Mr. Smile -> Perfection
- Uncensored + Disturbing/Sensitive themes (justice, rape, murder, mutilations etc.)
- Eps. 5 + 6 were the best!
- There was some unpredictability when it came to deaths
- Entertaining finale
- Main lead was unlikable, bland and dumb (+ he tends to change personalities)
- Some of the characters were very interesting to watch
- Mayor and Lawyer were super boring and used as plot tools
- Insane plot armor for some of the characters
- Way too many convenient things were happening
- Pacing was bad - some eps were boring ah
- Many lose ends about many characters
- Felt like two different series (1 -> draggy, typical Kdrama characters, boring moments & 2 -> super entertaining, fun to watch and intense scenes)
- Would be much better if the focus of the drama changed
-
34. Terror Tuesday: Extreme
Thai Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Great directing/cinematography is most -if not all- the eps
- Some bad and some great acting
- Some great and some bad eps
- Horror tropes
- Entertaining
- Binge-worthy
- Violent/Gory
- Twists
- Spectral Class was a fever dream
- The Vow and Viral Curse were the best eps
- Some great acting performances (Care -> Milk, Wedding Dress + Gee -> Nat, Smile -> Dao, The Vow etc.)
- Some very bad/overacting performances (Joy -> Onuma, Our Little Sister + Vasana -> Pen, Spectral Class)
-
35. The Frog
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Great cinematography/directing (the type where you want to screenshot everything)
- Great acting from pretty much everyone
- AMAZING music
- We truly need more characters like Jeon Ui Seon
- Violent scenes
- Symbolism
- Go Min Si's outfits were fire!
- Sometimes the suspense scenes lasted too long (you know the "what did they see" type of scenes - it took way too long until we actually saw that "something" and that had an opposite effect suspense-wise)
- Had some typical kdrama tropes here and there
- It could easily be one ep. less -maybe more-
- First half was slow paced and atmospheric
- Second half was fast paced
- Second half felt like a different drama comparing to the first half -> nonsensical/unbelievable and over the top things happened
-
36. Chastity High
Japanese Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Entertaining
- Binge-worthy
- Great production quality
- Good acting from the majority of the cast
- FL was a overacting a bit in the beginning
- Great music
- Concept sounded "cheap" and idiotic, but worked perfectlty
- Many cliches, but they were mostly done righ
- Anime/Manga vibes
- Fun to watch characters
- For once, most actors could truly pass for high school students,
- Typical emotionally unstable/villain characters
- Some overacting here and there
- Quite a few “easy way outs” for the plot to move forward
- Great last scenes
- Last episode felt very unrealistic and "idiotic" compared to the rest of the series
-
37. Shotai
Japanese Drama - 2022, 4 episodes
- High production quality
- Good acting
- Great BGM/OST
- Interesting plot despite the common concept
- Got better and better with each episode
- It did have some plot conveniences/plot holes
-
38. 25 Ji, Akasaka de
Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
- Addicting
- Entertaining
- I so needed a second couple
- Love's Hayama's calm personality
- Some jaw dropping moments
- Good pacing
- Some unneeded misunderstandings
- Interesting concept
-
39. Furitsumore Kodokuna Shi yo
Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
- Great music
- Interesting story
- Deals with sensitive themes in a delicate way
- Interesting characters
- Moral dilemmas
- Twists and turns
- Entertaining
- Some cliches
- Acting was generally good
- Had some overacting performances that I personally didn't enjoy
- Good pacing and great number of eps
-
40. The Time of Fever
Korean Movie - 2024
- Great atmosphere
- Amazing acting
- Chemistry was fire
- Addicting
- Lighting was not that great especially in the first ep.
- Quite realistic in some aspects - deals with some heavy themes
- Beautiful relationship
- Complicated characters
- The stares and complicated emotions were immaculate
- Didn't enjoy the music that much
- Editing had some issues
- Heartbreaking yet beautiful
- Everything a short drama wants to be
P.S. So this in the drama format (6 eps) so I am adding it here.
-
41. 4Minutes (Sultrier Version)
Thai Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Directing + Cinematography -> Great aesthetics
- Good acting (for the most part)
- Complex plot
- Fun to watch
- Dark atmosphere
- Eye-candy
- Doesn't follow the usual formula of bls
- Flawed characters
- Music
- Well made explicit scenes
- Plot is the "main character", not the romance
- Loved the ending of the second couple in the finale
- Some acting performances could have been better
- Last episode needed a few more minutes
- Product placements were so Thai -> hilarious
- No actual emotional connection with the characters
- Some plot points could have been developed better
- Who even decided that awful poster was a good idea? I'd rather confuse the two versions that see that monstrosity.
-
42. The On1y One
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
- Good production quality
- Good OST
- Slow paced
- Character driven
- Generally good acting
- Zeng Xiang Zhen was amazing as Jiang Tian
- Good chemistry
- High-school centered plot
- Fun to watch and interesting characters
- Gao Tian Yang was perfection!
- I wasn't that impressed with Liu Dong Qin in the beginning
- The teacher's story was unnecessary
- It better have a S2, cause otherwise the ending was baaaaad
- I would prefer they made a 24 episode series instead of waiting for a S2 that may never happen (at least they should have gotten an okay for S2 before producing S1)
- Had some differences compared to the book, but I wasn't that bothered by (most of) them
-
43. Culinary Class Wars
Korean TV Show - 2024, 12 episodes
- GREAT concept
- Pretty innovative for a cooking competition
- Fast paced
- Mouth-watering
- Great judges!
- Amazing cooking trials
-
44. Black Out
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
- Solid series
- Good acting for the most part
- Complex and well written plot
- A bit predictable, but not less entertaining
- Blood boiling
- Well written characters
- Loved the relationship of the two main leads
- Had an abrupt beginning
- It got very good after episode 4
- Safe to say everyone wanted that town to burn
-
45. Otto no Katei wo Kowasu made
Japanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
-
46. What Comes after Love
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
-
47. Love in the Big City
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
