It had a lot more plot holes than the first season. The acting made up for it, though. Sam was just so good. I think the sofa scene was controversial. Shi De was for sure being quite rough with Shu Yi. It was still a very emotional and well-acted moment, though. They had both built up so much emotion and frustration over the years. It was understandable the way they both reacted. Shu Yi felt betrayed and abandoned, while Shi De felt misunderstood and conflicted. Shi De wanted to tell the truth, but he also didn't want to break the promise he had made. About the promise. Shi De definitely should have talked to Shu Yi instead of making such a stupid promise with his dad. Sure, Shu Yi's dad turned out to be decent, but what he put the boys through was still awful and hard to forgive. Shou Yi and Zhen Xuan were complicated. I still don't get their relationship. Apparently, Shou Yi had a disorder that caused him to lack emotions. He said he didn't really care about Zhen Xuan. Why did he help him then? Isn't that caring? Then when Zhen Xuan finally was ready to let go, Shou Yi called out to him, and then in the next scene, they were good again? Anyway, the next season might explain it further. Lastly, why did they cut out the scene where Shi De explained who the girl was?

They still didn't explain who the girl that Shu Yi saw Shi De with was. We know from that extra clip that was released after the series that she was indeed his stepsister. Why didn't they add that? It was quite important since it caused a lot of misunderstanding between the couple. This also made me realize I really didn't like Zhe Yu and Bing Wei together. Zhe Yu was such an annoying little shit, honestly. Bing Wei deserved better. Shou Yi and Zhen Xuan bothered me even further this time around. They are one of the most frustrating couples ever. Although Shu Yi's little monologue in Japanese was cute, it didn't make much sense. I mean, surely Shi De didn't understand it? Shu Yi finally poured his heart out, just for Shi De to not know it? The best part was that they added some cute BTS moments. Sam and YU are just amazing together.

I really loved this, but I can't give it a ten because of the last episode. Although I loved that it didn't end badly, it was a bit weirdly put together. The scenes seemed almost randomly pieced together. It was still good, though. I loved seeing them as a couple, even if it was short-lived. They had amazing chemistry. It was so natural. That confession scene was so adorable. Sam and YU are great actors. They totally convinced me that Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi were in love. I can't wait to figure out what made Shu Yi so mad at Shi De. Maybe it had something to do with Shu Yi's dad because I could already feel the homophobic energy radiating from him. That scares me. Anyway, I'm excited to find out more about the side couples. Sidenote: Shi De's mom was so lovely.

The story just didn't excite me. Was I supposed to find the homophobic evil mothers funny? Stop villainizing women in BL's. Honestly. Nuea was annoying to me. I don't exactly know why. I think it was the actor's mannerisms or something. Sorry. Lom was fine. Just a tad bit cheesy. Marine and Yiwa were a laughable couple. Is it really that hard to make two female actors kiss and have it not look so awkward? What was the point of Nuea's brother and his supposed boyfriend? They were such an unconvincing and unnecessary couple. Also, do not be fooled. There was no full-on gay wedding in this. It did start with Sky and Pai getting married, I guess, but it was in no way a big part of the series. I think it was more supposed to be an Easter egg. Yiwa and Marine just got married off-screen. Yay! Gay rights. Lastly, in classic Mame style, there will be a special that costs about nine dollars. Girl. Maybe if we pay her enough money, she'll finally actually care about gay people. Haha.Right.

It was just a mess. They were trying to make Pop not gay so bad. Oat and Pop were generally just not that interesting to me. I kind of wanted Pop and Pree to get together... Pree and Rambo were so toxic. I especially disliked Rambo for lying to Pree about having sex with someone else (when they were broken up). He could have given Pree an STD. Pree and Rambo should have just stayed broken up, honestly. I also didn't appreciate them making it seem as if Oat raped Pop. RAPE IS NOT FUNNY! When will the people who make BL's understand this? Lastly, Mo deserved better.

Ugh. I mean, it was better than Hidden Love. That said, it was still bad. The only actor who I was pleasantly surprised by was Bonus. Everyone else was mediocre at best. The plot was boring. One more food-related BL, and I'll retire, honestly. Then we had the villainous female character. When will this BL trope cease to exist? This time around, it was so incredibly frustrating. Amy was literal trash. She deserved to be banished to an abandoned island, never to socialize ever again. The fact that she was that awful, and still ended up with a boyfriend that was significantly better than the guy she couldn't get, was such a disgusting message to send. Anyway, I didn't like any of the characters. Athip wasn't just possessive. He was toxic. Poon was stubborn and prideful. All that mixed together made them a terrible match. Mayom was too pushy and sort of creepy. Tengnueng was arrogant and definitely did lead Mayom on. Don't even get me started on Thaenkhun. There was a spot reserved just for him on that abandoned island too. Oh, and none of the couples had any chemistry. I felt nothing when they kissed. Watch at your own discretion, I guess.

The straight couples bored me. Miquel sucked. The homophobia was uncomfortable. Luckily Jane put him in his place. Romeo and Jenevie were not for me. I honestly found Jenevie quite creepy. The whole gawking at Romeo was inappropriate. Markie and Daniel was the only good thing about this, and they were saved for last. You had to sit through the excruciating pain that was some of the other couples. Enzo and Daryll are great actors, and therefore they easily have good chemistry with others. Unfortunately, their talent was wasted here. They could have been so good, but the fake kiss and the sort of open ending to their relationship ruined it. Daryll is not afraid to kiss another man, so maybe it was Enzo? Maybe it wasn't that, though, because none of the other couples really kissed either. I don't know. All I know is that I watched this because of them, and they were nowhere near as big of a part in it as I thought they would be. Anyway, overall the acting was pretty good, and the rest of the series was just okay.

Kelly wasn't actually a bad character, but they did make her predatory at times. Of course, the trans person has to be super touchy-feely with every man she sees. Let's end that way of thinking, yeah? I have no idea what they meant by the whole, "Am I gay?" "No." "Are you gay?" "No." Okay, so they were both straight or what? Yet they were in love with each other? I call it denial and bi/pan erasure. Also, did they seriously use icing/whipped cream as lube? That's a first for me.

Many things felt unresolved or rushed. They basically ditched the fiction plot, which was the fun part. The series lacked self-awareness, to the point that it wasn't that entertaining. Zon and Saifah disappeared towards the end. I ended up forgetting they were main characters. None of the side couples developed properly. I was pretty interested in Japan and Tanthai, but that went nowhere. Did Blue choose Dew or Champ? Did Zen and Natee like each other? Who knows? I didn't find Tutor and Fighter very exciting. By the last couple of episodes, I had lost interest. I'm not sure why I felt that way because Tutor and Fighter had great chemistry. I think maybe they were too lustful. It almost felt like fanservice. Another reason might be that Fighter forced himself on Tutor during their break-up phase. Their first two kisses also lacked consent. Also, Tutor gave up on their relationship so easily. He hurt Fighter and himself so much. Why let the homophobic dad win? Kae was one of few LGBTQ+ characters in a BL that actually represented the community well. Hwahwa bothered me. She threatened to blackmail Fighter into dating her but then got over him in literally a day. Lastly, it was so weird that Zon's sister wrote fanfiction/smut about him. I thought Saint, Zee, and Tommy acted well. Jimmy lacked in comparison.

This was not a series that needed a remake. That said, I did really want to like this. I can't say that I did, though. The sound was quite inconsistent. Sometimes, it just changed to a voiceover in the middle of a scene. There were so many abrupt cuts, and the story kept jumping all over the place. The long recaps were a waste of time. Why do I need such a long recap for an episode that came out the same day? The kisses weren't bad in comparison to other K-BL's, but in comparison to the Thai version, they weren't great. The chemistry also just wasn't there. It's honestly a shame that it wasn't better made because none of the actors were bad. Chang Hoon especially surprised me.

I didn't care about the straight main couple. I definitely didn't care about the band. Shokun and Maito made me angry. They seriously made it seem like Green was the shitty one when Maito shat all over his feelings. That said, I won't defend Green for kissing Maito without his consent. Shokun was just an asshole, and I guess, ultimately, that made him much more deserving of Maito's love than Green. At the end of the day, no matter what, none of them had chemistry. Shokun and Maitee had more chemistry in the few scenes they had together, to be honest. Also, Maito and Shokun's kisses were horrible. Lastly, Paul and Nice were a strange couple. They didn't work together at all.

Heartwarming, heartbreaking, tear-jerking, humorous, and just downright beautiful. There are way too many things that I could say about this, but I'll try to keep it short. The acting was flawless. The filmography was gorgeous. Cheng Feng Tai and Shang Xi Rui's chemistry was one of the best I've ever witnessed. Their relationship was something words can't describe. There were so many moments of wisdom in this. It was very thought-provoking and showed just how important having perspective is. I sincerely loved most of the characters. I was even able to somewhat sympathize with the less likable ones. The character development was well-paced and just overall well done. I even slightly appreciated the singing. The emotions used to portray it was just very captivating. It is a great drama that deserves more recognition and love. My only problem was Gu Da Li. She sexually harassed Cheng Feng Tai, and they tried to make it funny. Just because she was a woman didn't make it any less criminal, you know.

The acting was great. The story wasn't always super interesting, but at least there was a plot. You can't say that about most BL's. There were also a few plot twists I didn't see coming. I always love that. Of course, the chemistry was through the roof. There was no doubt about their love for each other. I feel like, for each censored BL that comes out, they get more and more daring. There was no lack of intimacy. Sadly the ending wasn't completely satisfactory. Apparently, there is a special episode that supposedly gives them a better ending. You can only watch it on the Youku app with VIP, though. So, I haven't seen it. I'd just quickly like to say I loved Scorpion. He was misguided by the people he trusted and loved. So even if he did wrong, I couldn't dislike him. I wanted him to find a soulmate too. Also, be prepared for some sadness near the end.

I watch BL's to escape all the hate and just enjoy two people loving each other freely. Gameplay and Folk aren't bad actors. They simply need a MUCH better script. This was so bad that they hardly had chemistry. They also ended this shit with a straight wedding, but not before making us think that it was actually Knight and Dee getting married. I can't. The characters also weren't good enough to be a redeeming quality.

Oh, it was so bad. At first, it was tolerable, and their chemistry was able to shine. After that, it was just a chore to watch. The acting deteriorated. The chemistry faltered. They didn't even kiss once. Bryce and Ethon kissed, so why didn't Martin and Ethon kiss? The super insignificant straight couple kissed. The lesbian couple had me excited at first. Later on, it became clear they were just there to fill out this way-too-long series. I did not believe in their love one bit. Dane was still excruciatingly annoying and nasty. They seriously tried to make us feel bad for her in the final episode. The only good thing about this was Martin's adorableness. If we ignore his actions in the first season, that is. Ethon sucked. Martin's dad and brother were odd. Darrel (Royce) was not a great actor. Even if he were, Royce as a character was insufferable. Apparently, all of this was Ethon/Mason's imagination, and therefore they will make another season that is about his actual life. Why??? In conclusion, it was not worth the wait.

Liang Ze was your typical "straight guy" getting together with a man for the first time. He had a difficult time accepting that the first person he ever really liked was a man. Then all of a sudden, he told his brother and sister-in-law that Hang Hang was his boyfriend. The sister-in-law said some things to him, and then he became really insecure again and told Hang Hang that he wanted to be just friends. Like, are you kidding me? He should have stopped caring so much about Hang Hang's gender. I get that it was all new to him, but love is love. Gender has nothing to do with it. I assume that there was supposed to be a second season where they get back together. Then came the ban. So, that never happened. Hang Hang was clearly very much in love with Liang Ze. I'm not sure Liang Ze was in love with Hang Hang, but they definitely both liked each other, even if Hang Hang always was the one that initiated intimacy and such. All Liang Ze had to do was voice his concerns.

Well, I thought they had chemistry, good kisses, and acted well, but the plot was so cliche and uninteresting. The power dynamic also made me uncomfortable. A boss pining after his employee usually makes me feel weird, but this was more extreme. Shun Yu was always acting like he was terrified of Shang Zhou even though he supposedly liked him. It was only the last episode where he finally stepped up. I'm so tired of this kind of relationship in BL's. In general, Shun Yu annoyed me so much. I wish I could say I disliked Shang Zhou more than Shun Yu because he abused his power, but to be honest, he was much more tolerable than Shun Yu. I just feel like Parker would do really well in a less serious character. So, yeah, anyway, I'm rather disappointed. Oh, also, the annoying female characters were, well, annoying and unnecessary.

This was really a rollercoaster. At first, I was a bit uninterested and lost. Then around the third or fourth episode, I got really invested. Unfortunately, around episode nine, I got lost again. Vee and Dome were the most intriguing pairing, but they were hardly present in later episodes. It was such a shame. They had great chemistry. Their ending was also the most underwhelming of all. Anyway, in general, I just really liked Vee. I wanted him to be happy. I also liked Saen. At first, I found him a bit pushy, but I ended up finding him rather adorable. Torn and Tupfah were meh to me. To be honest, I didn't care that much about them. I would have been fine with them breaking up. Aii and Saen were a better pairing, but I'm just a little tired of the whole one-guy-chases-and-the-other-runs. What I what most impressed by was the communication. Well, at least for the most part. The conflict in episode eleven was also interesting, albeit frustrating. I really didn't know who to side with. I felt like everyone involved was in the wrong. I also felt like there were some pretty accurate depictions of the problems young people in love go through or just young people in general. The acting was mostly good. Suar stood out the most, though. Although there were moments of boredom, I felt like there was something special about this series.

So much potential, and then it just got boring, predictable, and illogical. The leads had some chemistry throughout it, but in the end, they lost it a bit. The lack of a kiss was laughable, honestly. There was only an almost kiss. How frustrating. I don't believe that there always has to be a kiss, but they really made it seem like there would be one, so it was just disappointing. I also generally didn't like Bryce. He was selfish, in my opinion. I loved Bart, however. He was just the cutest, most innocent sweetheart. Brendalynne was also great. She was an amazing friend to Bart. Josh sort of redeemed himself. We never really got to know what happened to Edward? I also found it hard to understand whether Bart and Bryce stayed together? Another thing, breaking up and then instantly getting back together, is so overdone. The whole point of this series was that no matter who you love, no one will look at you differently, meaning a world where your sexuality doesn't change how people perceive you. So why was there a scene where it seemed as if Bryce's dad was "accepting" him? Maybe I just misunderstood that. I don't know. Hopefully, they will make another season that can straighten some of the curves.

Birdy was more unwilling to accept himself, and I believe he was still in the closet by the end. The shower scene was so beautiful. You could feel all of the emotions that they had built up and tried not to let out. It is just a great movie, even though it was sad at times.

My Novel Boy:

In this one, I could definitely sense some feelings that went beyond friendship. I don't know if it was love, but it was beautiful either way. Their embrace near the end was so cute. I feel like the ending was left to our interpretation. It can be happy or sad. We don't really know.

Close Friends:

Once again, I didn't feel any romance going on. To me, they were just childhood friends that had a falling-out caused by a misunderstanding, and then later, they met again and became close. It was still sweet, nonetheless. Happy ending.

The acting was good in all three separate stories. I was pretty satisfied.

This was definitely a BL. Change my mind. Every time the leads got close or something like that, they would shoot it just like in the BL's. They even added heartbeat sounds at one point. Like, come on. What is the point in denying it? Sure, they had a beautiful friendship as well, but it wasn't limited to just that. Boom, who played Thay, had a boyfriend, coincidentally named Fuse. Well, maybe that was a lie because he also asked Diew to be his boyfriend. In hindsight, that could have been a joke, I guess? Boun and Prem were obviously in a secret relationship, making them the only real couple in this. That said, they definitely also hinted at Miew and Dang being more than friends. I read that they chose not to label it as a BL because they thought it would distract us from Diew's struggles. Whether that's true or not, It's dumb. BL's don't have to be solely about romance. All the straight dramas/movies feature complex plots. Why can't BL's? Anyway, if you'd like to see a bunch of mostly adorable and wholesome content, this is for you. There were some sad moments, but they didn't take Diew's problems that seriously. Also, because they didn't take it that seriously, their excuse for not calling it a BL seemed illegitimate. About the acting. I don't really have any complaints. I'd say they have all improved. Some more than others, though. Zee and Peak aced their roles. They also had great chemistry. Lastly, I'd like to state that I really didn't dislike this. It wasn't amazing, but it had some memorable moments.

Sota was frustratingly dense, and Mahiro seemed like he almost just wanted to be miserable. They also didn't have chemistry. There wasn't a single time I believed they liked each other. It felt awkward. Don't even get me started on the female colleague. What was the point of her being in this? Lastly, the only time their lips actually touched was when Mahiro basically assaulted Sota. Cute! Right? So yeah, it wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't good.

This was surprisingly cute. It may come across as if this would be homophobic or just problematic with a title like that, but it actually ended sweetly. Watching Mob doubt himself was intriguing in a way. He never really took a second to reflect on why he was so against being with another man. It was over the top but still enjoyable. I also liked how it poked fun at some of the typical BL tropes. There were so many couples that it was a bit hard to keep up, though. I hope there'll be another season to clear up some things.

I missed this series so much. I'm happy to say that there probably will be another season. As stupid as it is, I can't get enough. I don't know. I guess it's just nice to see a world where boys just get to love each other without anyone thinking twice about it. I also just really love Anukai as an actor. He is what makes this series so entertaining. The only reason why I rated it lower than the first season was because I really think we deserved more of Mob and Kikuchi together. A kiss between them would also have been nice. Other than that, I wish it was longer.

I would say it's on par with the other seasons. It's funny, at times touching, and just generally enjoyable to watch. I'm also happy to see that they seem to get a little more daring with each season. The kisses were still mostly stiff, but better. I don't know what to tell you. I could watch Inukai in this role all day. The only downside to this season was the brief mention of the fact that a minor and an adult would get together in the future. Nothing actually happened between them, but it still weirded me out. Anyway, overall, I still want more.
