Favorite Actors
All of these are talented (and handsome) actors with a certain something that makes them stand out from the rest! (Usually they make me swoon, cry, crack up, or some degree of all three.)

Gong Yoo
South Korean
Who thought this would ever happen? After watching Goblin, Coffee Prince and Big, Gong Yoo completely stole my heart and admiration from LMH. NOT that I love LMH any less, mind you, but I love Gong Yoo MORE. He is an absolutely fantastic actor, whether he's playing lovesick, romantic, tragic, angry, goofy, empty, sexy, badass, or funny -- he's a truly amazing talent AND a total babe. (Wow, way to date your adolescence back in the 80's, Heather!)
I mean, who didn't COMPLETELY fall in love with Gong Yoo in Goblin? Every new part I see him in makes me love him more! But it was his acceptance speech at the 2017 Baeksang Arts Awards that solidified it for me. It was very raw, personal, and emotional, and I really admire him for being so honest and open in front of such a huge audience.
Yeah, I've got it bad. LOL

Park Seo Joon
South Korean
It took a while for PSJ to grow on me (why? Who knows?), but between Hwarang, Kill Me, Heal Me, Fight For My Way, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, etc, etc. he's now one of my favorite drama actors. I'm not a huge fan of Itaewon Class, but he was just amazing. His 5 minutes in Parasite was even memorable. He's adorable, funny, and sexy! And of course, gets bonus points for being Wooga Squad.
-
Lee Min Ho
South Korean
My first drama love and I always have a soft spot for him. I will never understand why he has actual haters. smh
This gentleman blew me away in City Hunter and made me an instant fan! He stars in many of my favorite dramas, including The Legend of the Blue Sea, which I can't get enough of. Watching him mature as an actor and a person (no one THAT pretty should get BETTER LOOKING as he gets older!) is a real thrill! I am an unrepentant Minoz!
I'm so glad he's back from his military service, and I LOVED The King: Eternal Monarch!
-
Song Kang
South Korean
Look, he's my new Kdrama boyfriend, okay? He was cute in Love Alarm, but after Nevertheless, I was just done for. #1 on my list of sweet boy faced guys. ?
-
Zo In Sung
South Korean
Absolutely mesmerizing in A Frozen Flower, and irresistible in It's Okay, That's Love! His role in Dear My Friends made my cry hysterically. I love that character so much! That Winter, The Wind Blows was also really emotional, and he was amazing.
-
Kim Jae Wook
South Korean
Who didn't have a crush on KJW in Coffee Prince? But it was Her Private Life that really hooked me. He's a seriously beautiful man and a terrific romantic lead. BUT WAIT -- he's also freaking creepy as HELL in Voice and SO INTENSE in The Guest. You know what, I need to move him up the list. LOL
-
Lee Soo Hyuk
South Korean
Ever since he stole the show in The Scholar That Walked the Night, I've just loved Lee Soo Hyuk. I've been REALLY happy to see him get some great roles in the past couple of years. He's an intense guy, both with his acting and his STUNNING good lucks. Seriously, he is a painfully beautiful man. Watching Tomorrow, every few minutes he was on screen, I was like, "Wow, he is just freaking beautiful." Just... I couldn't help it!
-
Park Hyung Sik
South Korean
I mean... do I need to say anything about PSK? From Hwarang to Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, he's just an unbeatable leading man. LOVED him in Happiness as well!
-
Sung Dong Il
South Korean
This award-winning veteran powerfully embodies any role he plays, from a vicious serial killer, to a loyal Joseon general, to a kindly, quirky psychiatrist or the ghost of a kindly doctor. I'm constantly impressed by his work.
-
Lee Kwang Soo
South Korean
One of the funniest actors out there, and it's impossible not to love him. Don't forget to check him out in variety shows like Running Man!
-
Song Joong Ki
South Korean
Tell in love with him in Descendants of the Sun, but when he said Serendipity by BTS Jimin was his favorite song to play when he was down or stressed, I was his for life.
-
Jung Hae In
South Korean
It is just not right how adorable and lovable he is! He was the main reason I sobbed my heart out watching Blood, and is completely captivating in every role he undertakes. High on the list of my sweet faced boys.

South Korean
From The Heirs to Rugal and Mr. Queen, there just something about his gentle eyes, deep voice, and powerful presence that make him a special addition to any drama.
-
Ji Chang Wook
South Korean
Amazing in Healer, and so, so sexy in K2, and adorable in Suspicious Partner. It seemed like a million years that he served in the military, but Melting Me Softly was sweet and worth the wait!
-
Lee Joon Gi
South Korean
There's just something about him. Although I wasn't entirely crazy about The Scholar that Walks the Night, his presence was really intriguing.
After Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, there was no way he wouldn't shoot to the top 5. Loving his new project, Lawless Lawyer, too!
-
Kim Nam Gil
South Korean
His intensity and vulnerability are outstanding, making Live Up to Your Name and The Fiery Priest real standouts for me.
-
Park Hae Jin
South Korean
There are no words to describe how awesome he was in Bad Guys! It took me forever to recognize him in 7 First Kisses because his look was so different! He's another intense presence, whether as a protagonist or as a bad guy!

Jang Geun Suk
South Korean
Name a red-blooded lover of men who doesn't have a crush on JGS. Hwang Tae Kyung from You're Beautiful is enough to hook you for life.
-

South Korean
Irresistible as the chef in the Age of Youth/Hello My Twenties series, and unforgettable in My Introverted Boss/My Shy Boss.

Gorgeous & incredibly talented. Absolutely shattered my heart in Bad Guys. I can't resist a tragic badass anti-hero with a heart of gold! (We don don't have to get into his brain-melting physique, do we?)
-
Kim Sang Joong
South Korean
That gritty, bitter, broken dad figure I just love in Bad Guys! But wait! Don't miss him as a vengeful former special forces/now criminal in City Hunter!

This kid is amazing in whatever he does! Check out Drama World & Seoul Searching, and do not miss the mind-blowing film Gook!
-
Son Seung Won

Utterly charming in the Age of Youth/Hello My Twenties! Series. Not so sweet, but still great in Healer!
-
Park Joong Hoon
South Korean
Great actor! I have a thing for gritty older men of the law, and he had this in spades in Bad Guys: Vile City.
-
Ma Dong Seok
South Korean
I didn't fully appreciate how terrific, charming and funny he was in Bad Guys until I saw other actors in similar roles. He is a great part of an unforgettable ensemble!
Also one of the BEST characters in Train to Busan! And pretty much the only really good thing about The Eternals.
