Korean Drama - 2019, 10 episodes
holy shit. i don't even know where to begin. the acting? best. siwan's portrayal of Fear is legitimately thE BEST i've ever seen. the residents of eden? CHILLING. especially ldw and the landlady? INCREDIBLE. i was ready to give it a 9/10 but with the final twist? hands down, mic drop 10/10

this is the movie with the highest total number of times i cried gdaosijmsfg what a rollercoaster ride ;u; it was heartbreaking and then heartwarming and just a lovely watch over! rly great acting from the entire cast. i found the cgi a bit cringey initially but it grew on me and rly just fit the vibe of the movie

a really original and cleverly executed storyline!! they brought together a range of circumstances really well and i enjoyed having things happen unpredictably!! a really good motivational boost if you’re feeling weighed down by life

4. Because This Is My First Life
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
one of, if not, THE best drama i’ve been recommended and now have a special place in my heart for. they approached the topic of traditional vs modern views so well and the script was so elegant and poetic. i enjoyed following all the different characters’ stories and had my own bit of self-discovery/realisation while watching. an indisputable 10/10

SO i jumped into this late on a sunday night thinking it’d be a fun dog heist movie but it’s actually such a sweet and meaningful movie. time well spent!

this is such an important show. it touches on many aspects of gender issues and highlights how important it is to take a stand. “the big changes are made from someone’s small courage.”

7. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
omg i loved the dynamics between the subsets of characters: the prison guards, the inmates.. heartwarming! and also one of the osts that matches best w my personal tastes :> some scenarios may have been a bit far-fetched, but i think the drama was rly pushing the idea that no matter how terrible ppl have been, we shouldn't lose faith in their capacity to be good or to be better

oh this was gorgeous! heartfelt, hilarious, and a whole lot of fun, well worth every minute i spent watching and renewed my sense of gratitude towards family and friends.

i loved this!! i put it off for so long bc i thought it was just an office drama and that 90% of it would be based on court and law jargon but it rly wasn’t! first time watching ji changwook and i loved his performance. nam jihyun and dongha took the cake though, they were incredible. characters were all well-written and well-executed! time well-spent!!!

oh goodness this made me cry as much as flower of evil did! fun and emotional, really great acting from the whole cast and an incredible soundtrack! a bit cheesy w the cgi sometimes but so fun still! i’m rly glad they put the stunt actors in the ending behind the scenes montage bc the action scenes here were rly well done

i haven't seen something so fun in a while! great characters; i didn't find any of them truly unlikeable,, i love the enemies to lovers trope and also the fake dating to lovers trope and this one gave us enemies to fake dating to lovers and i now realise this is my new fave
