dramas I watched in 2022

i had been planning to watch this drama for so long and it didn't disappoint. I love every character and the main romance is very heartwarming. also udon the cat was my favorite part. I didn't really care about the 2nd couple though.

another drama I have planned to watch for awhile. i had planned to watch it before 2021 ended but alas. a very good drama!! i love every single character! actually every character! the plot was interesting and fun to watch. highly recommend. 

a solid drama!! peak romance, and was very funny. i really did not like the ending though. also felt like the drama did peak at ep 16 which was a tad disappointing.  a top tier body swap drama!

very solid and short murder mystery drama! so many great female characters!

genuinely enjoyed this more than I thought I would. plot is a mess, but the main couple are so good! 

liked it better than I expected. a good character drama, i loved the students' friendship dynamic a lot. has really sad moments but also many funny ones too.

an enjoyable drama, watched it for ji sung & lee kyu hyung and they were the best part. I did really love the group dynamic a lot. I would say the female lead was my least favorite. i wish she was written better, and the romance felt very forced and one sided. 

came into this drama for the friendship, turned out more slow & draggy than I expected. I did like that it mainly focused on the friendship. however they didn't give enough screen time for joohee and focused heavily on  just mijo & chanyoung. 

very enjoyable!! I loved akk & theo a lot, and it had very nice cinematography! i did feel a little rushed and could have used one or two more eps tho. 

i loved this drama so much!! very well written, pretty cinematography, so many well written female characters as well. might be one of my top 2022 dramas already!

very cute & very aesthetic!! the chemistry is very good, as well as the plot. peak friends to lovers. wish it was a little longer, only bc i love it a lot!

originally watched it for kangjoon but enjoyed the plot overall! it is very confusing but in a fun way, i guess. very sci fi, we need more kdrama sci fis.

this started out a lot better than how it progressed. the main conflict was irritating,  and the angst was exhausting. the comedy of this show was one of the strongest aspects of the drama. i love the couples and the friendships, but it was another drama with a handful of unbearable characters.

i  loved the community aspect of this drama, and the cinematography. it was a little slow & draggy at times, but an enjoyable watch.  wish more dramas did more scenery wide shots the way this drama does. 

very high anticipated drama, kind of lost it's hype for me the longer the drama went on. still a very fun drama; a lot of angst, comedy, and everything in between. peak cinematography.  i didn't care about the side couples like everyone else did though.

came in with low expectation and came out loving it very much. it is well paced, good action, a lot of well written characters. can be very funny, but also very sad & angsty. probably one of top faves of 2022!

nice story & cinematography, very enjoyable and well paced!  i wish it was longer though like cherry magic. 

loved the cinematography!! but they underutilized one of the best characters in the show and that disappointed me. it is pretty well paced, but some of the revenge plot got a little boring sometimes. i did like the ending for it though, it was open ended without too many loose ends. 

a very good character drama, they are all so likable and well written. all the romance is cute too, i was the most interested in third couple the most. the way every character was all connecting was very fun to watch!

i loved how it felt like a korean xianxia. it was a fun drama, but the main leads & their romance was the best part. unfortunately they ruined most of the characterization in the last 30 minutes to set up for part 2.  

watchable for ji sung, but the plot is a little messy. if i didn't watch it for him i probably wouldn't have watched this. I did like that heo sang tae finally played a likable & complex character, wish he does more like this one. at least the characters were interesting to watch, still don't know why they introduced sun halfway thru.

this drama was a little disappointing. i watched it mainly for lee jong suk being unhinged, which was very fun to watch. this drama peaked in the middle of this drama unfortunately. they killed off the most interesting character too early and the ending was rushed. 

a top tier xianxia!! it's well paced and i loved almost all the characters. definitely a drama i actually liked for the plot!  

I liked it more than i expected! the leads chemistry was so good!! two actors who can do comedy & tragedy well! i didn't care about really any of the side characters much, and the ending was left rushed. 

i loved the black mirror sci fi concept the most. i didn't really feel any chemistry with han jimin & shin hakyun though. enjoyable watch but after i finished i forgot about it.

i watched this on a whim bc i was in a drama slump and am in love with it! i love the FL a lot she's introverted but knows what she wants. also i'm obsessed with dynamic with the leads. they just understand each other so well. it's a crime this was only 8 eps, but at least that meant it was paced well. 

a cute drama! the chemistry with the leads is so good! wish this drama was longer and didn't have so much of the jealous "friend" and the bullying plot. 

cute romance, very trope but in a good way! a good light-ish watch, love the found family in this.

top tier cinematography, characters, and romance! some of the tropes annoyed me, but i still one of the best dramas of 2022. 

i'm obsessed with the main couple. the story was pretty well paced, and I loved the main leads a lot. as well it ended happy and well, without forgiving the mother. 

loved the vibe of the drama & the cinematography. the deaf stigmatism got a little too much for me most of the time. but the romance was very warm. the way they used sound design was so well done.
