1. Love Me If You Dare
Chinese Drama - 2015, 24 episodes
This is probably the only Chinese drama I ever completed, as I tend to find Chinese dramas to be too slow - as in "unnecessarily dragging the plot and losing their beauty as it goes on" - but, not this one. I watched it all in one go (after the restless wait for all the episodes to air).
I found Love Me If You Dare to have the perfect mixture of romance, criminal psychological thriller, and mystery. The chemistry between the main characters was breath-taking and the plot was perfection. I absolutely loved this drama, including the ending ! I`m still hoping they will make a second season - because let us be honest - it leaves you wishing for more and it did seem to me that they left the drama, at the end, "open" to do so .

3. Secret
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
One of my favorites. The actors were amazing, beautifully bringing the characters to life and portraying every anguish and torment they lived through. The plot was solid and intriguing; which is what kept me watching as it is a slowly passed drama. I had watched the first 2/3 episodes and dropped it since I prefer fast-passed dramas and slow ones tend to bore me easily. However, I picked it back up after a week as I was curious to know how the plot would develop and how the relationship between the main characters would progress.
I got so hooked on each episode, absorbing every second of it. It was that type of drama that has you wrapped in blankets sobbing like a newborn baby at 2 am; despite the fact you have exams the next day and should totally be sleeping already. You know those dramas that make you scream internally and cry as you watch it because not only can you feel the pain and regret and love of each character but also because each episode has made you realize you are not as emotionless as you thought you were? Maybe that's just me... But this was that drama.

25. Plerng Rak Fai Marn
Thai Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
I really loved this lakorn! I enjoyed how it didn't go straight into the reasons for the revenge plot written in the synopsis; they didn't give away everything straight from the beginning, like the characters intentions and past, leaving us to our own judgements and revealing stuff bit by bit. I must have seen the last 10 episodes about 5 times by now, even when subs weren't available. The romance was a bit lacking between Ton and Ja but daaaamn I was into them, not only because they looked great together but because the focus of the drama wasn't in their romance; it focused more on the manipulation strings between characters and the family drama born from betrayal and angst

Favourite character: Kim Dan (portrayed by L). He was so adorable!

Beautiful cinematographic images; heartbreaking scenes; hilarious and adorable moments; fantastic OST's. These are a few of the drama elements.
