Best of Netflix
As Netflix claims a range of things as "originals" (see this article about the four types of originals), "original" dramas will be marked as those which are produced by Netflix and those which were just released exclusively on the service which Netflix had nothing to do with the production of. Unmarked dramas are not "Netflix Orignals" and are available on other streaming platforms.

1. Move to Heaven
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Move to Heaven - This drama is about a "soul clean up" business and the people who run it. Han Gue-Ru is an autistic guy who helps his father in this work. Due to his father's sudden death he has to now work by himself but his uncle shows up one day and now Gue-Ru who is completely opposite to his uncle has to live and continue his father's business with him. It's a literal "soul cleansing" episodic drama. The character and relationship developments are the best part about this drama and it's a perfect watch for when you need some healing. - u/Fatooz

3. Extracurricular
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Extracurricular - 11/10 literally one of my favorite dramas. Its a little slow in the beginning bc first 2 episodes are like context but hang in there its well worth it! Its a thriller about high school students and it really touches on issues like underage sex trafficking, parental pressure/ relationships, mental health, school stress, etc. the characters and story line has an amazing arch, and its very interesting to see the ML spiral and loose control as the series continues. I highly recommend this, it kind of changed my view on kdramas bc its not ur usual light and fluffy romance genre, it has a very deep meaning - u/i_kv99
Extracurricular -It's not for the faint of heart, but I watched the entire show in two days and just finished it, and wow - u/The_Real_Penguino

4. My Holo Love
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
My Holo Love - this is a 12 episode romance, with some action, about a lonely woman and an artificial intelligence hologram. It touched on more deeper aspects of society and the impact of being lonely. But also was lighthearted and sweet at times. There is a slight love triangle between the woman, hologram, and the developer the hologram is modeled after....which I think was adorable. It was interesting to see the contrast between real human (with flaws) and a perfect hologram (that you couldn't touch). - u/caninedesign

5. The School Nurse Files
Korean Drama - 2020, 6 episodes
School Nurse Files - This is a great drama to watch if you want something completely different. A school nurse battles jellies - globs that only she can see and are physical representations of human desires - with a plastic light stick. She pops the jellies that are weighing down the students. It's only 6 episodes and is a good show if you want something supernatural, odd, and a little funny. - u/caninedesign

6. The Sound of Magic
Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
The Sound of Magic- this is a beautiful musical drama about a magician living in an abandoned theme park and a teenager going through a difficult time. They form a friendship and support each other through their troubles. It is only 6 episodes but is paced very well and tells a complete story. Acting is wonderful, visuals are stunning, and singing is outstanding. - u/caninedesign
The Sound of Magic - Based on the WebToon "Annarasumanara" this is a musical drama and pretty much the first ever musical KDrama I've watched. The WebToon is really short and so this drama aptly depicts those episodes in these six episodes. Ji Chang-Wook, Choi Sung-Eun and Hwang In-Yeop so beautifully brought the three main characters to life. The music and vocals just added a magical touch to the drama and so the drama intends to be, it achieves it's goal of being a magical drama eventually making you believe in magic. - u/Fatooz

7. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
Mr. Sunshine - Our beloved writer - Kim Eun-Sook - decides to surprise her fans and non-fans with this epic historical drama, and you're totally going to fall in love with it. Go Ae-Sin is a literal "strong" woman and I love how she's both elegant and fierce without even trying very hard. Kudos to Kim Tae-Ri for nailing her character. Of course, Yoo Yeon-Seok's story will touch your hearts the most. Pretty much every character has a tragic past and story moving forward but what really makes me love this drama is the nuanced performances, the music that complements the scenes and the characters that will eventually catch a place in your hearts. - u/Fatooz

8. Sweet Home
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Sweet Home - is a short dystopian drama. Lots of horror and gore but it's really a story about people. A group of humans are trapped in their apartment building as monsters take over the world. As the drama progresses, it does a phenomenal job of questioning who the monsters really are - the people under stress or the scary things outside? It's not just horror/gore for the sake of being gory. There's a point to all the violence and an underlining question about human nature. It's only 10 episodes but does end on a cliffhanger. - u/caninedesign

9. My First First Love
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
My First First Love - this drama is one of the best dramas on Netflix! It’s basically about a young adult and his 3 friends who all need a home (they all have personal reasons), and he decides to let them live at his house. 10. My Only Love Song
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
My Only Love Song - It's basically about this actress who is quite self-obsessed and somehow ends up going to the past only to fall in love with a guy she absolutely hates. It's a fun and short drama, perfect for a binge. It gives those pre-2017 drama vibes and I love how campy it is. 11. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Prison Playbook is a drama about a baseball player who ends up going to prison. At first I was unsure about watching this drama but I deceived to give it a try and I didn’t regret it even once. The drama has comedy yet still carries a serious tone throughout the show. The characters are great and you feel very connected to them, that every scene is a treat. It’s definitely one the best Kdramas out there and is a Netflix original so I would recommend you to watch it - u/loneranger1512

12. Hospital Playlist
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Hospital Playlist - It's a slice of life kdrama mainly about a friend circle of 5. It shows their daily doings as doctors and also shows their out-of-hospital life which features them in their own personal band. It's a medical drama but does not go too in-depth about medicine so it's fun to watch even if you're not into that.
The side characters have their own stories and they're not just there to form a romance with the main characters. There's no rush to get into a relationship or a lot of anxiety or cliffhangers so you can watch this casually as well. - u/venatryyx
Hospital Playlist! The latest one from the amazing director-writer tandem of Shin Won Ho and Lee Woo Jung. It’s a slice of life drama and a truly heartwarming story of friendship about five friends who are doctors and their relationships with the people around them.

13. Strangers from Hell
Korean Drama - 2019, 10 episodes
Strangers From Hell definitely isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re digging psychological, thriller, mystery stuff this is the perfect show for you.
It’s about a young man, Jong Woo, (Im Si Wan) in his 20s who moves to Seoul for an internship, because he’s trying to save money he moves into an old, run-down residence. Soon he realizes the people at the residence are strange and eerie, all of them seem to hide something. Especially the charmingly eloquent dentist (Lee Dong Wook) strangely seems to be fascinated by the protagonist. Shortly mysterious events start occuring in the apartment...
Be ready for a thrilling ride into insanity... - u/iDemonizer
Strangers from Hell - This is the best story I have seen recently. Briefly It is about a new guy at an eerie residence. All of the residents here are strange and the creepiest is Lee Dong Wook's character. I love the scenes between Lee Dong Wook and Im Siwan which are tension-filled and speak of an impossible bond that could never happen since one is a villain and the other (the new guy) is supposed to be a hero. I also love the way Lee Dong Wook appears on the screen each time as it sends chills down one's spine. There is not much action and it is a psychological thriller filled with more anticipation of what could happen next than straight up action. However, for me who does not normally enjoy psychological thrillers I loved the suspense. I haven't felt that kind of excitement in a while. - u/MarooshQ

14. Itaewon Class
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Itaewon Class - I normally don't watch KDramas but I ran out of things to watch and a couple of friends pushed this drama hard on me. I went in with no expectations of it being good. I expected it to be lot of cliche, and predictable story lines with a lot of crying and I was blown away and surprised at how much I enjoyed this. This made me look at KDramas in a whole new light. I've watched like 8 more dramas after that. None is as good in my opinion. - u/sincityhunter

15. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
If you like grand, classy love stories, Crash Landing on You is gorgeously put together. This love affair between two people -- and two halves of a divided country -- has it all: a romance full of meant-to-be, heart-tugging barriers between the leads, sharp dialogue, vibrant ensemble work, and beautiful cinematography depicting both Koreas and also some dreamy places in Switzerland. It gave me a hit of the longing Koreans feel for their country to be unified. And the cultural and socioeconomic contrasts between the two countries are fascinating, too. - u/amnesiafakedating
Crash Landing on You - a lighthearted drama about a south korean socialite falling into north korea, as she meets a general from there. they kindle romantic tension, and fall in love with each other in north korea. i love this drama for a variety of reasons, an example can be that i love tsundere male leads - u/intelligentMoodie

16. Romance Is a Bonus Book
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I enjoyed this series a lot. Take it for what it is - a light rom com noona romance - and it feels like a warm hug on an autumn afternoon. I think what I personally loved so much about the show was the emphasis on words and books and how much they can shape us when we love them. As someone who has been an avid reader my entire life, I found comfort in those passages and I adored the way they wove them into the story. There isn’t much substance to the story because there isn’t meant to be but the substance in the romance is something that preceded the viewer. They are lifelong friends who fall in love and discover a new side to their relationship. Personally I enjoyed it immensely - u/xliterati
Romance Is a Bonus Book is a sublime, bookish romantic comedy, and a valentine to writers and independent publishers. It also critiques workplace discrimination in a compelling way. This noona romance has a light touch, employing forced cohabitation, a secret from the past, and love tangles with such style that they felt fresh for me. - u/amnesiafakedating

17. One Spring Night
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
One Spring Night is great if you want to watch a drama about a healthy relationship where the two people actually talk to each other. I liked it a lot although it does feel a little slow at times. - u/adriflame1
What I really liked about One Spring Night is that when they do begin touching/holding hands/kissing/etc., it's so deeply intense since there's all this outside pressure against their relationship. So even just her putting her hand over his mouth is this huge thing. I love the build up of their relationship! - u/lola36610
One Spring Night is special for the after feeling it gave me that stayed around for a while. Usually once I start a new drama I get into it quite quick but it took me a while to get out of the post OSN funk. It was a beautiful story about normal life. I regularly go back and watch the good/funny moments between ML and FL. - u/jakgem

18. Memories of the Alhambra
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Memories of Alhambra — ML navigates through Spain to test a virtual reality game that somehow gets bugged and becomes deadly as he plays. Action-packed and with a side of romance. Shows great places in Spain. - u/lunahelios
Memories of the Alhambra is pretty entertaining I felt like it was quite fast paced and didn’t drag unnecessarily. Also Hyun Bin (heart eyes) delivered as per usual. However, romance is kinda bland and the ending is a bit wtf. - u/hallyubae
Personally, I really enjoyed Memories of the Alhambra, despite the train wreck ending. The whole gaming aspect sucked me in. Most seem to hate it though. - u/modesttoss

19. Age of Youth
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
The first kdrama I watched was Hello My Twenties! (Age of Youth), which is a slice of life/coming of age drama. It focuses on female college roommates, and their relationships as well as their individual journeys in life. It's really heart-warming and the characters are very relatable. I just absolutely loved the focus on female friendships. Also, the pretty apartment/dorm setting is a bonus. - u/tinkerbell_flower

20. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
When the Camellia Blooms - one of the absolute best male leads in kdrama! This is love at first sight and complete devotion to the female lead. She can be a little weak and mopey at times, but she has an inner strength that does shine through. It's a great kdrama set in a village, with great supporting characters around the town. This is a definite must-see for all kdrama fans. - u/caninedesign

21. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Something in the Rain - This drama is about a noona (FL) who buys food for her best friend's brother occasionally, and they both manage to ignite feelings for one another in each other's hearts. It basically highlights a societal issue - older women can't fall in love with younger men - and actually manages to execute it in a realistic manner. A few characters can be annoying but that's just how it is in real life too. I personally liked it till the end though it did make me furious a few times especially when the FL's choices start to become very questionable. But that's the beauty of the drama, it's too realistic and so I would recommend this to those who love a good realistic drama where in you can maybe understand why so and so character did what. - u/Fatooz

22. Chocolate
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Chocolate - I don't know why this was not more of a hit. It clashed with CLOY fever, which was unfortunate because it is not big and glossy like CLOY . It has a big story, and a huge heart, and a long, slow slow slow burn romance, as well as a series of support characters all of whom remain in your heart long after it has ended. There is a bit of cheese in episodes one and two, and then it really takes off...and it has my favourite OST. the acting from everyone is astounding. I think it was only my second k-drama and is responsible for a lot of late nights since. - u/Englsihk-dramafan

23. My Country: The New Age
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
My Country: The New Age - The drama is set during them fall of the Goryeo dynasty hence the title The New Age. It basically presents a story about how each of our main characters tries to reach their goals in a rapidly changing country. Throughout this drama, all the main characters go through a lot of tragedy and I cried a lot while watching so you might as well. There is romance in it as well but it's not very focused on. - u/Incidenceincident
My Country: The New Age is a really good option, with a phenomenal cast, OST, and it's set in the interesting but batshit crazy [real] battle of the princes that took place at the start of the Joseon era. Things get bloody when a king has a gazillion sons but refuses to give up his throne to any of them. Mistakes were made, lol. (Same setting as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart, actually, but not at all the same story.) Watching My Country got me reading about Korean history, and made me a Woo Do-Hwan fan for life. Plus the OST has a version of AC/DC's Back in Black song done on traditional Korean instruments that is amazing. That series is so good! - u/stellamarisetal

Hyena - this is a great kdrama when you want a strong female lead and an enemies to lovers plot. The leads have great chemistry with actual adult desires. They have an interesting rivalry that is hatred, respect, cooperation, and admiration. It's entertaining throughout and well paced. - u/caninedesign

25. Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
Arthdal Chronicles! It‘s a fantasy and there’s such amazing world-building, such beautiful mythology. It’s an epic fantasy of sorts, kind of like Game of Thrones but not really. It has a somewhat complex plot that is hard to condense, but basically our hero, Eun Seom, is part of a prophecy that declares that he has a role to play in the end of civilisation. The story follows him and many others connected to the prophecy directly and indirectly, as they unravel the contents of the prophecy and watch destiny play out...or not. - u/smol_n_fluffy
Arthdal Chronicles - An amazing fantasy drama, it’s so unique and original. The drama has its own world that immerses you into it from ep 1. - u/TheAnonymousMe-
I would recommend Arthdal Chronicles to a fan of Fantasy and Historical Dramas. The writers have built a world from before history. The detail involved is reminiscent to the Lord of the Rings - different species, languages, cultures, myths which come into contact and conflict with each other. The acting is superb as is the cinematography. It is a long commitment as there will be a total of 3 seasons (18 episodes each, I am assuming.) Which is the normal length for an epic Sageuk. I would say give it 3 episodes to see if you like it. The dynamics change early on as you get introduced to the different locations and characters. - u/LcLou02

29. SKY Castle
Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes
SKY Castle! It's a great option for those who are tired of the romance plots in kdramas. It does involve high school drama but that's not the main point of it. It definitely brings to light the toxic side of the education sector in Asia and the expectations and pressures that are on students and how that can effect them.
The high involvement of the parents makes this even more interesting as you can see different family dynamics and how it can effect children as well.
All this might sound too deep but the drama doesn't get too dark. It's quite fun to watch and there's never a down episode. I watched it with my mom and she liked it too! - u/venatryyx

30. Oh My Ghost
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Have you ever felt like someone you were with before helped you to become better in a later relationship? Quirky, sweet Oh My Ghost evokes the gifts received from, and debts owed between, lovers. I wouldn't call it a love triangle - it's actually more of a love threesome, between a lively ghost, a shy chef hopeful, and a striking chef. While it can inspire questions from viewers - who's in love with who, anyway? - this drama won my heart with its wit, romance, humor, yummy food porn, and tender attention to how people help each other become better. - u/amnesiafakedating

32. Live Up to Your Name
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Live Up To Your Name - One of my favorite K-dramas so far! I love the time travel and medical (old vs new medicine) mix in this drama. It's got a lot of great comedy as well as a lot of serious drama. It also shows the struggles of different classes of people as well as those who struggle with twisted motivations. One of the few dramas I gave a solid 10/10 on MDL! - u/phantompawprints

33. Are You Human Too?
Korean Drama - 2018, 36 episodes
Are You Human, Too? - A chaebol gets involved in a car accident and ends in a coma. His stand-in takes immediately over, letting the world believe he's fine. His female bodyguard seems to believe the same. However, the truth is much more complicated and suddenly before our eyes the most unlikely romance unfolds, between a woman and a robot. And yes, we do get a happy ending! - u/imerremi
Are You Human Too? is soo bingeable and he's the most adorable, flirty robot ever. Seo Kang Joon's facial movements and inflections are so impressively slight, indicating which role he's playing. - u/pvtshame

34. The Package
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
The Package is like joining a small-bus tour of France yourself. You have your first impressions of your fellow travellers, but as you get to know their quirks, you have to make adjustments. Our tour guide deals smoothly with just about anything that comes her way, however the single guy causes some unique problems. Worth a re-watch! - u/LcLou02
The Package - I LOVE this show, and not only because it's fully filmed in France and has gorgeous scenery. What I love the most about this is that it is very character focused. Each one of So So's tourists have their own backstory and as they unfold, it completely changes your first impressions of each of them. - u/pvtshame
For maximum twists in a lighter, funnier drama, watch The Package, it'll allow you to travel by proxy a bit too in these times of self-confinement! - u/Turquoise-Turmoil

35. Radiant Office
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Radiant Office A down on her luck girl just trying to get a job in this tough economy lands a job at a furniture company working for the man that didn't hire her at another company. Infinite's Hoya plays another new hire with a sweet heart that just needs a little more confidence. Lots of fun as they struggle to prove that they are worth hiring and have lots of personal growth along the way. - u/MerinoMedia
Radiant Office started airing at the tail end of Chief Kim’s wildly successful run when no one thought they needed another office comedy in their lives again. But this little drama is definitely worthy of a watch. It tells the story of three down on their luck individuals who meet in a hospital after failed attempts on their lives, in the process of escaping their hospital bills they overhear that one of them is terminally ill. Sounds pretty sad right? Don’t worry it’s not. Radiant Office is as bright and hopeful as its name suggests.
Our three heroes coincidentally score internships at a furniture company and work hard to try to improve their lives. What you get is a set of three fierce friends who have each other’s backs and it’s just delightful. Our female lead is quirky, fun and hardworking. She doesn’t care if she upsets the applecart at work as she thinks she is it. Her manager is her sworn enemy but slowly they correct misconceptions about one another and move from enemies to lovers. To wrap it all up in a nice bow this drama has a fantastic OST that makes every moment even better. - u/sianiam

36. Dear My Friends
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Dear my Friends - Geared to those of us drama viewers who are mature-enough to consider thinking about our mortality in a serious vein. It centers around a group of elderly ladies, and two token men, dealing with aging and if you make it past the first few scenes in the first episode, (a lady standing on top of a ledge on a tall building) you will find some tremendous humor, poignant moments and a ferocious relationship between a mother and daughter. Go Hyun-jung, from Sandglass and Queen Seon Duc, is back and she is stunning in her performance. All the ladies you may recognize from recent drama’s, but this story was made for them all to shine. It is a shame most will not see it. It is a gem. - u/stumpy1949
Dear My Friends — I cried throughout the whole show. A drama about old people falling in love and out of love and grappling with mortality and friendships and losing people and themselves in the process of aging and reconciling with their children and grandchildren and trying to find their own identities and worth as people despite all of society telling them that there's no point because of their age? SOB. FEST. - u/beingjane

37. Thirty but Seventeen
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
Thirty but Seventeen - If a wholesome had a second name then that would be Thirty but Seventeen. How sweet an lovely this drama is! I adore the found family trope and this drama does that perfectly. Characters like Jennifer added so much comedy and wholesomeness to the drama. Also, Yang Se-Jong and Shin Hye-Sun had such great chemistry that you'll love this drama from start to end. Shin Hye-Sun's character was so well written and acted that it eventually feels very believable. - u/Fatooz
Uses alternate title on Netflix "Still 17"

38. Her Private Life
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Her Private Life - An office rom-com that will make you laugh, cry and smile like crazy. Ryan Gold is so swoon worthy and it would be no surprise if you start fangirling over him. It's a cheesy rom-com that checks off all the tropes for a typical rom-com drama but what was unique in this drama was how the FL was a fangirl herself and if you're into Kpop, you'll be able to relate to her so badly! - u/Fatooz
-
39. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
While You Were Sleeping - One of Park Hye-Ryun's best works till date. Sci-fi / fantasy is a genre I enjoy quite a lot but what I enjoyed the most about this drama were the cases. Each and every case piqued my interest and I only saw myself getting more and more invested in the drama. It also introduced me to Jung Hae-In and his character had the best story amongst the main characters. The soundtrack complemented the drama and would definitely recommend it if you're a sci-fi/fantasy drama along with crime thriller. - u/Fatooz
-
40. The Heirs
Korean Drama - 2013, 20 episodes
The Heirs - My gateway to KDramas and Lee Min-Ho! I would highly recommend this for when you need a good laugh. It's quite funny how these characters take themselves so seriously but at the same time you'd really enjoy watching the stellar cast and some supporting actors who're now big actors with some good dramas under their belt! It's a makjang-lite though so beware for lots and lots of rich people drama! - u/Fatooz
On Netflix under the alternate title "The Inheritors"

41. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo - Kim Bok Joo is a weightlifter and she's amazing at it! She develops a crush on this doctor and unaware of how dating or even approaching your crush works, she gives it a go! Then she meets Joon-Hyung who turns out to be her childhood friend and then what happens is fun and cute! The drama touches some really sensitive topics but they're executed so maturely and the characters are so nuanced that as you keep watching it, you'll find yourself to be deeply invested in them. WFKBJ is like a warm and a breath of fresh air. Probably one of Nam Joo-Hyuk's best works as he's best when he's a lost puppy! The chemistry and the friendships is what makes this drama so special for me. Highly recommended if you want to watch a youth drama focusing on relatable experiences of the characters and want to watch friendships and first loves. - u/Fatooz
-
42. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Descendants of the Sun - It's an action rom-com where something or the other keeps happening but the drama is never at rest. Yoo Si-Jin is the captain of South Korean army meanwhile Kang Mo-Yeon is a thriving doctor. Both have a chance encounter and eventually get infatuated with each other but Mo-Yeon is unaware of all the danger Si-Jin is in, and he hides a lot from her because of his job. It's basically about how these complete polar opposites come to accept each other for who they are and what they do, and still manage to fall deep in love. I loved how quirky Si-Jin was and his one liners are the best. It will give you the typical 2016 drama feel and if you want to feel nostalgic then this is a perfect drama for it! - u/Fatooz

43. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Goblin - Another one of KIm Eun-Sook's better works. Goblin is a complete package. You get romance, bromance, amazing soundtrack, beautiful cinematography, some really deep characters and a lot of insight on death, deeds and sins. It has a stellar cast and though the main romance can be an issue for many, I recommend it for how fleshed out some characters are, how soothing the story tends to be and some of those sub plots are what makes this drama something recommend worthy. - u/Fatooz
On Netflix under the alternate title "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God "

44. Fight for My Way
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Fight for My Way - Four friends who had certain dreams, unfortunately are working to make ends meet. ML and FL are still working hard to fulfill their end goal but somewhere have accepted that life must go on whether or not you can meet your dreams. It's a motivational drama and though the second leads can get really annoying, the main leads' story will have your heart. The comedy, acting and of course the chemistry are gold! - u/Fatooz
-
45. I'm Not a Robot
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
I Am Not a Robot - absolutely loved this; through a series of missteps, the human who modeled for the robot has to step into the role temporarily and in so doing, she and her robot "master" fall for one another; so funny--many, many laugh out loud scenes; character development is great. Love the nerdy robot-design team and Jo Ji Ah's friends/family members. I like Kdramas where female leads are independent and not milquetoasts and the Jo Ji Ah character is so likeable as a spunky innovative businesswoman. - u/TimeTraveller1848
I super love I Am Not A Robot! Gosh what a lovely drama, fun, comedic, but also shows great character development dealing with trauma and loss. The romance is fantastic, Chae Soo Bin and Yoo Seung Ho have excellent chemistry. - u/valrielle
-
46. Tomorrow with You
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Yoo So Joon is the successful CEO of a real estate company who has the ability to time travel when he takes the subway. Going back and forth in time, he sees his future self living a life of torment and unhappiness. To try to offset his doomed future, he decides to marry Song Ma Rin, a cheery photographer, even though he does not love her. Can Ma Rin help So Joon change his unhappy future? - u/thabz2281
It's a time-travel drama that will probably mess up your head a little but the romance is great and it's beautifully shot. - u/zazzizaz
Tomorrow With You. To be fair, this has some buzz and has been recommended, but in some ways it's a "difficult" drama, with an extremely intricate plot and multiple, fascinating character layers. Also, Lee Je Hoon can come across as a prickly intellectual, so I don't see him getting a ton of fan love. So I don't think it has the immediate appeal of most popular dramas. - u/amnesiafakedating
-
47. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Healer - About a "night courier" who has a goal to earn certain amount of money and go live on an island until he meets the FL who intrigues him and makes him want to know more about his past life! There's mind blowing action, chemistry and a decent story. Healer is a classic and is perfect to watch if you're a KDrama newbie plus it has Ji Chang-Wook and Park Min-Young who're known to have some good projects under their belt. - u/Fatooz
-
48. Touch Your Heart
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Touch Your Heart - If you watched Goblin and loved the second couple there then you need to check this out. It's cheesy, funny and campy. There's some good humor and some bad humor but it's cute and will manage to bring a smile on your face. Make sure to count how many tropes it checks off haha. - u/Fatooz
-
49. Coffee Prince
Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes
Coffee Prince - FL is a tom boy and everyone considers her to be a guy so she goes along with it as she's the eldest and the bread winner of her house. Her mannerisms are all guy-ish and so a chance encounter with the ML lets her to get attached to him. They both start being friends but as time passes by the ML starts developing feelings for her, but he doesn't know if it's the right thing since he thinks she's a guy. This drama starts off all fun and quirky but halfway through and you'll find this drama to deal with some complex emotions and topics but you'll have a fun ride enjoying it nonetheless! Also there's lots and lots of bromance which is cool! - u/Fatooz
-
50. Terius Behind Me
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
Terius Behind Me: He may be the most elite of secret agents but none of his training has prepared him for babysitting two mischievous youngsters that know how to push all of his buttons. Excellent production value helps save this drama from campy-ness and turns it into a slick-looking, heartwarming story of people bonding together to become a team of avengers worth rooting for, whether they are solving international crimes or just making sure the kids have fun at the kids cafe. - u/myweithisway
It's The Pacifier: kdrama edition. Fun and slightly silly spy comedy with the wholesome backdrop of a family that just needs some help. Throw in some excellent and intrepid neighbors, plus the most ridiculously campy cliffhangers and you have yourself a winner. The kids are pretty cute too when they aren't being terrors. Just don't expect mojitos at Namsan Tower next time you swing by. Those are a lie. Just fix your life and watch it, okay? - u/MerinoMedia
It's funny as hell and the characters are extraordinary. Terrius is charming and handsome, smart, great with kids and slightly tongue-in-cheek as a spy. The kids are cute and natural, very real and a great tag team. The neighborhood watch committee is a riot of fun and efficiency and gossip and kind hearts. The situations are off beat and even the bad guys are kinda loveable, well sort of. Overall, it's an excellent ensemble comedy adventure spy thing. Highly recommended ? So Ji Sub's best imo. - u/elbenne
Listed on Netflix under alternate title, "My Secret, Terrius"

51. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Kill Me Heal Me - this will make you a fan of Ji Sung if you aren't already. He perfectly acts all 7 of his split personalities. You can tell which personality is which simply by the way he stands and moves. The story is heart wrenching as he deals with trauma, and the FL who helps him also has a traumatic story. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you won't forget this drama. - u/caninedesign
-
52. The Girl Who Sees Scents
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
The Girl Who Sees Scents - FL and ML get entangled in a murder case as they witness it but unfortunately FL loses her memory as she meets an accident while running away from the murderer. However, due to the accident she develops an ability where she can see scents and trace a person through that. It's quite the unique character ability and I loved Namgoong Min and his character. Most of the story is pretty interesting though it can take sometime for you to get invested in the drama. - u/Fatooz
-
53. Dr. Romantic
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
Dr. Romantic - This one's a seasonal drama with two seasons out. The first season was a good introduction to Han Seok-Kyu's character as Dr. Kim. The character growth is especially the best part about this drama. The chemistry and team work is an add on. If you're in the mood for a medical drama with a good amount of romance then I would recommend it. - u/Fatooz
multiple seasons
-
54. Love in the Moonlight
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
Love in the Moonlight - Loved how quirky and cute this drama was for the most part. Kim Yoo-Jung and Park Bo-Gum had great chemistry. Like every other historical drama, this turns out to be a bit dark towards the second half but regardless it was very pretty entertaining. Park Bo-Gum as the crown prince was great and I felt his acting and real life personality suited the character he played. - u/Fatooz
-
55. School 2017
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
School 2017 - My favorite drama in the school series. The story was more intriguing than the other dramas in this school series. There was a good balance between romance, friendships and mystery. Kim Se-Jeong and Kim Jung-Hyun were both good in their respective roles and their chemistry was great too. The characters came across as quite matured for their age and the school corruption was also dealt with accurately. - u/Fatooz
-
56. Jealousy Incarnate
Korean Drama - 2016, 24 episodes
This drama is about two best friends who fall in love with the same girl who used to have a crush on one of them. I personally loved this drama every episode was fun and the acting is just so so good! Jo Jung Suk slayed the ML role he was great! The side characters are fun, chemistry is sizzling and the whole drama is just a treat! - u/hallyubae
Jealousy Incarnate — This is pure rom-com, with all the emphasis on the comedy. Jo Jung Suk is so wonderful as a petty man-child who is also insanely attractive despite not meeting conventional Korean drama pretty boy standards. He nails his role as a man who brushes aside the heroine, only to lose her and to lose his mind to his ridiculously petty jealousy. I loved every moment of it; there's not a lot of dramas that can elicit such genuine cackles from me. - u/beingjane
On Netflix under alternate title "Don't Dare to Dream"
-
57. Voice
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Voice - Serial murder cases and emergency call cases (time sensitive stuff like child kidnapping and murder attempts in-progress). Female protagonist has super enhanced hearing, giving her and her partner an extra edge to solving the cases. Season one has a really great villain and the main story is resolved at the end. - u/renicrat
Voice - one of the best stories I have ever seen, including western movies, series, eastern series and anime. Especially first season. It is a dark thriller. Police/crime/action/investigation. One bigger story and every two episodes tell us a different small stories. Focus on characters, so it is balanced character and story driven. And constant action and danger which is difficult to squeeze into such packed work. Criticism on corruption, too powerful people, because of whom lower social groups suffer. In this regard similar to stranger. Two continuations, but first series is the best. - u/MenthaAquatica
Multiple Seasons (S1 only one available on Netflix June 2020)
-
58. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
W - Two Worlds - FL's dad is a webtoon creator and he goes missing. FL ends up getting pulled in the webtoon and saves the ML. It's a fantasy romance thriller and though the writing became messy in the second half, I enjoyed watching it because the concept was a bit new. Lee Jong-Suk and Han Hyo-Joo had fabulous chemistry which is another reason to watch this drama. - u/Fatooz
-
59. Good Manager
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
Good Manager - If you want a good laugh then this drama is a must watch. ML is an exceptional accountant who does creative accounting for some gangsters in order to hide their dirty funds. A big company hires him so that he can help cover up a few things for them but things go haywire when ML decides to become the good guy in order to uncover the corruption and truth. I really enjoyed the love-hate relationship between Jun-Ho and Namgoong Min's characters. Also Jun-Ho was exceptionally good at portraying the selfish and extremely ambitious Seo Yeol who could cross any lines in order to reach his goals. Worth the watch for these things. - u/Fatooz
On Netflix under alternate title "Good Manager"
-
60. Save Me
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Save Me might require a little more patience to get into and is not for everyone, but if you give it a chance you may find yourself pleasantly surprised. This drama features an equally courageous but vulnerable female who calls upon four males for help when she finds herself trapped in a cult against her will. You will find yourself shocked at the eerily realistic trials the main cast is put through as they rush to expose the cult while battling corrupt government officials and police. Perhaps the most captivating part of this series is the undying friendship between the four boys and their commitment to help their friend in need. This is a slow-burn thriller, but well-worth the time if you are interested. - u/eal8
-
61. Suspicious Partner
Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes
Suspicious Partner - a romantic comedy mystery with a similar mood to What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, about a prosecutor and his trainee as they work on a case involving a murder. I won’t say too much so as not to give away any spoilers. - u/smol_n_fluffy
100% check out Suspicious Partner. It’s a rom com/ crime/ thriller drama. It’s about a lawyer getting framed for killing her ex-boyfriend and the way it progresses is really interesting. The leads have amazing chemistry but the romance isn’t the centre of the show and allows for exploration of other storylines. It gets serious and suspenseful at times but it’s also one of the funniest dramas i’ve watched. I just about laughed every single episode. One of my favourites. - u/UnusualSundae
-
62. My Mister
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
I recently finished My Mister and it was such a great drama! It focused on social class struggles as well as familial bonds and community spirit. Not to mention, corruption and betrayal. It had a little bit of everything and the story was very engaging. It's one of those dramas that can fool you into thinking it's slow-paced, but it really isn't.... the drama is really good and doesn't take long to unfold. Excellent story and great acting! - u/tinkerbell_flower

63. The King: Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
The King: Eternal Monarch -This was one of those dramas that made me feel very different. It gave a very Westernized feel and also because Sci-Fi is my favorite genre. This was also Lee Min-Ho's comeback drama and personally I loved the bromance and the romance. I love me a healthy relationship and this drama gave me leads who had great communication. Also, the only drama whose entire album made it to my playlist. Plot wise it tends to go off track at one point and had lots of potential but despite being flawed it was worth watching for something different from your usual KDramas. - u/Fatooz
Exclusively available on Netflix

64. Run On
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Run On - ML and FL are polar opposites but somehow end up getting infatuated with each other. Their chance encounters lead them to becoming friends and how they eventually fall in love. Their relationship basically helps each other come out of their shell, motivate each other and let each other experience a relationship where they have open communication. Also, ML's character development was one of the best things about the drama. - u/Fatooz
-
65. The Uncanny Counter
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
The Uncanny Counter - Four people who are chosen as counters basically have the job to find evil souls and send them to the afterlife where they can serve their punishment. These four somehow end up being connected and uncover the truth about ML's parent's deaths. It's an emotional action crime thriller, with great acting by all four leads, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat. - u/Fatooz
-
66. Lovestruck in the City
Korean Drama - 2020, 17 episodes
Lovestruck in the City - Probably the only indie kind of drama I've watched. The chemistry between Ji Chang-Wook and Kim Ji-Won is so mind blowing from the very start and the question/mock commentary format further made it unique. The character choices can be frustrating at times in the drama but you may even understand where the character is coming from. It's a unique drama and worth your time. - u/Fatooz
-
67. A Love So Beautiful
Korean Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
A Love So Beautiful - Remake of the Chinese Version, I loved this version a lot more. The ML was so cute and warm and I mainly loved how the tiny issues were dealt with in the drama. The friendship between the main group was so wholesome that it ended up becoming a drama I enjoyed. - u/Fatooz
-
68. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Vincenzo - Song Joong-Ki as anti-hero mafia consigliere and Jeon Yeo-Been as the crazy money obsessed lawyer, this one’s a hell of a ride especially with all the side characters. Its over the top comedy, stellar cast and of course the writing makes it one of the best dramas of 2021. The acting was top notch and some of the law scenes were my favorite. Despite not being a huge fan of law dramas, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It takes some time to draw the viewers in but it’s like a roller coaster ride and will definitely keep you entertained throughout. - u/Fatooz

70. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha - Hong Du-Sik is a know-it-all and is super nosy. He loves to help people and works all kinds of jobs on the minimum wage basis. Yoon Hye-Jin is a dentist looking for a place where she can open her own clinic. She comes to Gongjin, her hometown and ends up meeting Du-Sik. They start off on a rough patch but eventually start becoming friends and develop feelings for each other. The slice of life of this drama is great, and it’d make you want to live in a seaside town surrounded with the wholesome people as in this drama. The chemistry between the dimple couple just adds on to why this drama is a must watch. - u/Fatooz

71. Happiness
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Happiness - A zombie thriller which is a lot more than that. Yoon Sae-Bom is a special agent, quick and smart. Jung Yi-Hyun is a detective. They’re both friends from school. While inspecting a case Yi-Hyun comes across a special case where the killer is “infected”. Both Yi-Hyun and Sae-Bom get involved with a series of infected people as they shift in an apartment they earned reserved for the exceptional civil servants. This drama showcases a special case of “zombies” and there’s a trope you won’t see coming but when it does you’ll eventually love it. Talk about courage and wits, these leads have got them all! - u/Fatooz

72. Business Proposal

A Business Proposal - A typical cheesy and campy rom-com where Shin Ha-Ri ends up going on a blind date in place of her friend and meets Kang Tae-Moo the president of the company she works for. Chaos ensues as they both get into a contract relationship. It’s one hilarious drama that will keep you highly entertained throughout. It’s just 12 episodes which is why it’s pretty fast paced. - u/Fatooz

Twenty-Five Twenty-One - Probably one of the best dramas I’ve watched recently. The drama captures the struggles, heartbreaks and the memories of youth beautifully. Kim Tae-Ri as Na Hee-Do does so much justice that you’ll feel as though she’s living that character. The relationships and the friendships are so well portrayed. High quality writing, direction, acting and soundtrack. Everything together gives you a masterpiece. - u/Fatooz

74. Bulgasal: Immortal Souls
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Bulgasal: Immortal Souls - I felt it had a bit of the Goblin Vibe but only because it's about a immortal beings kind of minus the romance. I think it said there's a romance in there but it's not really. It's about an immortal being who's the last of his kind who is bent on a revenge to the woman who took his soul, this making him immortal. It kept me on the edge of my seat every week wondering what was going to happen in the next episode. - u/Irish_Amber

75. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
What's Wrong With Secretary Kim - Kim Mi-Soo is the secretary of Lee Young-Joon, the CEO of a big company. He's cold, narcissistic and extremely self-obsessed. Mi-Soo decides to resign from her job now that she's at a better place financially and tired of working for Young-Joon, but it seems like Young-Joon can't let go of her. It's a typical rom-com filled with over the top comedy and some really hilarious and amazing side characters. Along with the main story, the supporting characters too have a very wholesome bunch of stories and they really do enhance your watching experience. - u/Fatooz
-
76. Pinocchio
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Pinocchio - ML is the son of a firefighter who goes through a tragedy and loses his family over a mere speculation made by a person who had the Pinocchio syndrome where apparently they can't lie because otherwise they get hiccups. He gets adopted by a grandfather with amnesia and starts living with the FL whose mother is the reporter who ruined his family. As they grow up both him and the FL decide to become reporters to achieve their goals, revenge being the main goal of the ML. It's one of Park Hye-Ryun's best works as she depicts how a true reporter must be vs how reporters are in the society. It dealt with some sensitive topics and in doing so it excelled. The characters were also well written and it's an interesting drama. Can get a bit draggy in the second half, but worth the watch. - u/Fatooz

Jang Uk knows Mu Deok's secret and makes her his master. This drama is all about its main cast and characters.
