Hanayagi Yoshiaki was a Japanese actor born in Hyogo, Japan. His birth name was Aoyama Masaru (青山勝).

At a young age, he was adopted by the actor Hanayagi Shotaro.

In November 1933, he marked his stage debut at the Meijiza theater in "Kyoenroku". He was also actively engaged in guiding younger actors through the "Seinen no Kai" association.

January 2, 1978, while performing at the premiere at the Shinbashi Enbujo Theater, he collapsed on stage and remained in an unconscious state until his passing the following day, at the age of 54.
