Chris Wang Yu Sheng is a Taiwanese actor, model, singer and writer born in Taipei, Taiwan. He speaks Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese (Hokkien). He got his start in show business when hosting the popular Taiwanese travel show "The King of Adventure" on cable channel SETTV. He attended New Taipei Municipal Yong-Ping High School. He has a degree in finance from National Central University.

During college, he took a job in Australia for the summer and biked across the desert. After he returned to Taiwan, he saw the international-travel show "The King of Adventure" was looking for a new host, and recommended himself at the show's blog site. The show's producers were impressed by him and he became the show's fourth host in 2008. When Chris had first seen the show on TV a few years before, he had shouted at his friends that he wanted to host the show someday.

Since 2012 until 2018 he has been under Yijia Entertainment. From 2013-2014 his record company was Sea Butterfly Music. Since 2019 he has been under Magpie Entertainment.

He started acting in TV drama series with a role in "Lucky Days: Second Time Around". Chris has also released a music album in 2013 and published several books.

Wang dated and married his manager, Lin Yi Xian, in 2015. They have one daughter, Wang Lei Zhen, who was born on 9 April 2015, and a son who was born in June 2017.

In 2012, in The 1st Chinese Drama Awards, he won the Media Corps Award and the Best On-Screen Couple Award. In 2013, in The 2nd Chinese Drama Awards he won the Best Hualiu Star Award. In 2020, in the Taiwan 2020 Youtube he won Rapidly rising to the top.10 creators.

On May 24, 2024, Chris Wang was sentenced to eight months in jail by the Taipei District Court on Friday for the forced indecent assault of a woman. Wang exploited the woman's trust and his violent actions severely infringed upon her sexual autonomy and bodily integrity.
