Choi Seung Cheol, better known by his stage name S.Coups, is a South Korean singer, dancer, composer, lyricist, and the leader of the Korean boy group Seventeen (세븐틴) under Pledis Entertainment (플레디스 엔터테인먼트). Becoming a trainee in 2010, he was one of the original Pledis Boys and was supposed to debut with NU’EST (뉴이스트). He was formerly a member of the pre-debut Tempest (템페스트) before Seventeen was created and the group was dissolved. After graduating from Seoul Performing Arts High School, he went on to study in the K-Pop program at Hanyang University and in the master's degree program in Integrated Business Administration at Anyang University.

In August of 2023, S.Coups sustained an injury to his left knee. The torn ACL required reconstructive surgery, exempting him from military service.

S.Coups made his debut with Seventeen in May 2015 as the group's leader, hip-hop team leader, rapper and sub-vocalist with their first mini album, "17 Carat." He is part of the sub-unit SVT Leaders and the sub-unit Hip-Hop Team (세븐틴 힙합팀).
