He made his debut in September 2012 as 100%'s vocalist, visual, face of the group and maknae with their first single album, "We, 100%". The group had some commercial success thanks to the agency's strategy of pairing them with label mate group TEEN TOP.
In March 2014, TOP Media (티오피미디어) announced he was going on an indefinite hiatus to figure out his future. He never returned to the lineup and decided to quit the entertainment industry.
He married in September 2020 and now owns a café in Incheon.
