He made his debut in November 2015 as the group's main dancer, lead vocalist and visual with their first EP, "Under the Moonlight". Not even a year after debuting, the group faced a lineup change when 3 members departed and 3 new members were added.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on September 7, 2020 and was discharged on March 6, 2022.
On March 10, 2023, he announced the end of his contract with VAV's agency, A Team Entertainment (A team 엔터테인먼트; formerly known as AQ Entertainment), and he left the group.
He now appears to be out of the entertainment industry.
