On September 15, 2018, Liu Yu Ning released his first solo single "Imagine." On March 25, 2019, he won the Best New Artist and the Internet Influence Honor awards at the Chinese Top Ten Music Awards 2019. At the Chinese Top Ten Music Awards 2020, he won the All-round Artist of the year award, the National Recommended Singer award, and the Media Recommended Album for his first studio album "Ten."
In November 2021, Liu Yu Ning again won the All-round Artist of the year award, the Internet Influential Male Singer award, and the Most Popular EP award for his second EP "Listen∙Ning" at the Chinese Top Ten Music Awards 2021. On January 29, 2022, he won the title of Weibo Livestream King for 2021. On January 18, 2023, he won Singer of the Year for 2022 at the Weibo Music Awards. On August 28, 2023, he won Most Popular Male Singer at the Oriental Billboard Awards. On September 26, 2023, he won Most Reputable Singer of the Year for 2023 at the Weibo Music Awards.
On January 13, 2024, Liu Yu Ning won his first ever Hot Actor of the Year Award at Weibo Night recognizing him officially as an actor. On August 26, 2024, he won Asia’s Most Influential Male Singer & All-Rounded Artist of the Year at The 31st Annual Oriental Billboard Music Festival. On November 5, 2024, he won his first ever Actor of the Year Award at Weibo TV & Entertainment Summit 2024.
